The War on Some Drugs is a continuing criminal enterprise of the big-government/big-corporate prison-industrial complex.

I remember this story. He originally claimed he was forced but it turned out he was making the big bucks for running drugs. I'm guessing he'll go to a nursing home prison and be out in under 18 months.

Sharp was a drug courtier for a decade, but his involvement wasn't noted until the traffic stop near in Washtenaw County. Then his "extensive involvement" was discovered.

This one is no innocent victim. He was supplying what most likely ends up as crack to everyone from Detroit to Toronto.

I have no sympathy.............if they’d give a 17 yro 3 yrs for this, they should give a 90yro..except for the 17 yro they would give him the full sentence of 17 yrs, because the young have to suffer more dontchaknow...

I don’t either, but I don’t know if this guy was “all there” and I don’t put it past hardened dealers to use whomever they can to tote their drugs around. That’s why I pinged Michigan FReepers; they may know more about the story.

The War on Some Drugs is a continuing criminal enterprise of the big-government/big-corporate prison-industrial complex. How else are we going to build a nice, big Police State?
I guess the thought never crossed the minds of any of the police, prosecutors, court bailiffs, judges, prison guards, parole officers, etc. exactly why it would be profitable for a 90-year-old guy to be running drugs.
Guess they were too focused on their salary & pension swag...

Don’t care if he served his country in WW2. He’s a POS dope peddler. Throw the bastard in the slammer. Hope he croaks there.
