Former Florida Governor Charlie Crist has made no secret of his desire to end the U.S. embargo on Cuba, but he may go even further and take a visit to the communist nation over the summer, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
The Times reported that Crist is “eager to learn more about the country as he call for normalizing relations with Florida’s neighbor."
Crist’s calls to lift the embargo lines up with polling across the state and the nation that show majorities favor ending the U.S. policy.

I’m simply amazed Crist is even in the same ballpark as Rick Scott in terms of polling. Economic conditions in Florida, by all accounts have vastly improved since Scott took office. Some polls even show Crist ahead by as many as 10 points. Sounds like FL has been sickened by the same infestation of liberal parasites as Virginia.
Really he should just stay there...it’s sort of a pilgrimage to the motherland for morons like him anyway.

Not really but it may be as simple as ego and desperation.
Hes trying to stay relevant and make people hes not the joke he really is.
I never heard him talk about normalizing relations with Cuba...
Personally I think we should because in the long run it will help overthrow the POS Castro regime and will help the State of Florida...
We trade with Vietnam, China, both communist regime...Both countries have moved toward more open societies and free market practices because of it...
Crist is being an opportunist...
Hew will test the polling and see where it takes him...
