ST. CHARLES, MO, May 8, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Parents in Missouri are outraged at school district officials for allowing an e-book with images of people engaging in sexual intercourse in school libraries.

Francis Howell School District is facing a backlash for placing "It's Perfectly Normal," a book that includes images of naked people, intercourse, and other pornographic material, in its libraries. One parent told a local reporter that most parents "were shocked" when he "showed this to" them, and that "their next reaction was outrage."

If they only spent half as much time on math, science, reading and writing we might get somewhere.

I just met someone who is in a LIt 101 at a JC and they are reading “The Davinci Code”. I would hardly call that literature. Of course, the classics, the basis of out civilization, can not be taught.

It should be a felony to make pornography available to kids and to encourage them to have underage sex. FELONY. Schools should not be exempted

Ask that person if s/he knows it is pure fiction. Or if the teacher knows.

Time to swear out a warrant for child abuse and other related sex crimes on the librarian, teacher, principle or school board member that provides this material to the children.

Make available, and the intent to make available.

Well they only have two minutes to complain to the school committee before they get arrested.

As a parent, when my children were in school I would have been upset even if the depiction was of people having sex someplace other than the library.

They arrest outraged parents now. They want you to just shut up and watch as your kids are taught atheistic materialism.

It is.

Everywhere, as far as I can tell.

> Schools should not be exempted

Ah! Therein lies the rub.

If it’s done in a classroom in the guise of “sex education”, then it’s ok.

Ain’t moral relativism grand?

Obviously putting it in a school library counts as that

The Bible is banned in pubic schools but picture books showing “how to” do gay sex positions are OK for 10 year olds.

Down is up and wrong is right.

Well, what else would you expect in pubic schools?

You should take a gander at the Illinois Sex Ed Curriculum. Illinois Family Institute has done quite a few stories on it. Absolute travesty.

With respect to the arrest I suppose you’re eluding to, the jackass conducting the meeting could have given the father his say instead of forcing her pathetic, petulant game of rules that led to the father’s arrest.
