On May 9th Jack in the Box announced it would "prefer guests not bring their guns inside [Jack in the Box] restaurants."

This announcement comes in response to a Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (Moms Demand) campaign aimed at securing an all-out gun ban in Jack in the Box corporate stores. Moms Demand also wanted franchises to be pressured into banning guns as well.

Moms Demand started the campaign after customers legally carried their rifles into a Fort Worth, Texas, Jack in the Box last week.

This might sound ludicrous, but that’s never stopped me from posting.

If I were a mom, I would be very reserved about arming myself because the kids get into everything, including the guns. So inventors need to figure a way for moms to arm themselves without having to worry about the kids playing with mom’s gun and accidentally hurting themselves - or worse.

Also, gun experts need to find a way to train both mom and kids so that the kids know what to do in various situations if mom ever has to pull her gun.

The point is that these moms are probably trying to limit guns because they have no training to safely use a gun to protect both themselves and their kids when in public settings.

It's all in the wording.

Prefer is a polite nudge, and that's it.

(In Cali, there is no OC anyhoo.)

I would absolutely still eat at one of their restaurants; providing I was really, really hungry, and there was not an In n Out within 20 miles or so.

There is no need to carry in Jack in Box because the most dangerous thing in there is the food.

I was in Las Vegas recently and I tried one of their burgers. I can say authoritatively that their burgers will not be missed by anybody.

We were surprised by just how many JIBs there were in Vegas. Seemed like every couple of blocks. Their sirloin burgers are pretty good.

Burger King is still the best of the bunch.

WAT. Try Wendy's (has stepped up its game recently) or In-n-Out Burger. Carl's/Hardees also not bad.

They have invented a way for moms to arm themselves and keep their kids safe. ITs called keeping your gun in your possession at all times and safe from little hands. Once the kids are bigger (6-8) depending on the kids, its time to learn safe gun handling and take a gun safety class

I have other dangerous tools around my children as well....and there are things more dangerous than guns to children in every house. I know many moms who are armed, know how to use their firearms and know how to keep them safe. God help anyone who threatens one of my kids in a public or private setting. They will have very little time to regret their action....

Regarding my previous post, the Flashbang holster would seem to be a good starting point for mothers arming themselves when kids are present.
FLASHBANG HOLSTERS
Flashbang Holster THE Original bra holsterl! Accept no substitutes!

(Note no children in this particular video.)

There remains the issue of training the kids to best protect themselves for when mom has to use her bra gun in public settings.

It’s called a holster and you keep it on your body.

My female cousin has a bra holster, I’m pretty sure you could put a holster SOMEWHERE on your body that your kids can’t, or you won’t let them touch.

Yes. The reason that I mentioned "braw gun" is because gun training for moms with kids is ultimately going to have to prepare moms to teach the kids the proper terminilogy for when the kids start teasing mom about her "braw gun." In fact, kids are predictably going to play games where they act out mom reaching for her braw gun.

Again, moms need to be trained to deal with that stuff.

BK blows. In-N-Out, What-a-Burger, and Carl’s/Hardees all vastly superior.
