Tuesday is round two of the current spate of tea party versus establishment matches in Republican primaries.
Voters in Nebraska and West Virginia face choices, with tea party candidates given a decent chance of winning.
Former Maryland Republican Chairman Alex Mooney is the tea party pick in West Virginia's open congressional seat race. he faces two opponents. The winner will vie to succeed Rep. Shelley Moore Capito, who is running for the Senate.
Also closely watched will be the Nebraska Senate race. Midland University president Ben Sasse, former state treasurer Shane Osborn, and bank president Sid Dinsdale are iin what's believed to be a right race.
Sasse has strong support from tea party groups, but Osborn has gotten help from allies of Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky. Dinsdale, who has stressed his strong local roots, has gained momentum in recent weeks. The seat is now held by Sen. Mike Johanns, R-Neb., who is retiring.
This week's contests follow the May 6 Republican Senate race in North Carolina, where House Speaker Thom Tillis easily beat a tea party candidate. Next Tuesday, tea party favorites are challenging establishment figures in Idaho, Georgia and Kentucky.

Experience is key for the next couple elections. If you have an ounce of experience, you will win the primary. People are done with one the job training for awhile. Thanks to Obama, novices are not going to be trusted for at least two elections. So far my theory is proven correct.
I agree w/ your assessment. But even if the TEA doesn’t win, it is indeed having the desired effect.
Win or lose, TEA is moving the needle in the right direction.
Question for Nebraska voters. All 4 attorney general candidates are prolife.
Im leaning toward Hilgers because a member of the Federalist Society. He clerked for a conservative judge on the 5th circuit appointed by Bush.
All these other candidates who are not prolife Im leaving empty, especially since this is primary.

So I have
Senate. Ben Sasse

State treasurer. Don Stenberg
Dis 12 state legislator. Mere Riepe

Your comments welcome, unless your a rino supporter.
I do know that Stenberg is conservative. Cornhuskers have some good choices, but can they respond?
