Sean Hannity says it's official: He's moving to Florida, and he will have a ranch in Texas.
Hannity first threatened to leave New York, the state where he was born and now resides, in January after Gov. Andrew Cuomo said conservatives have "no place" in his state. Since then, the Republican governors of both Texas and Florida have made pitches to Hannity to move to their states. Both have no state income tax.
Hannity listed his Long Island home for sale in February for $3.6 million, Newsday reported at the time.
Hannity hosts a prime-time television show on Fox News Channel and a nationally syndicated radio show, both based in New York.

Welcome Sean.
Doesn't mean Hannity has to BE in New York to host the show. That's the beautiful thing about modern technology and the Internet: Broadcast quality studio's can be ANYWHERE.
Good JOB, Cuomo. Good JOB, Bloomberg. Good JOB, DiBlasio. :)
I noticed Huckabee builit a six million dollar house in South Walton County recently.
Looks like the ad that DeBlasio has been blasting the airways with has had the opposite effect. Wonder how that will affect his TV show that originates in New York?
RE: Doesn’t mean Hannity has to BE in New York to host the show
What about his TV show?
If he has a panel (as he usually has), does it mean the rest of them have to be in NY and he has to be linked to them remotely?
Wish I was able to do the same, but for the time being, I am stuck in the People’s Republic of NJ.
I wonder where in Texas will be his Ranch?
The Texas Hill Country would be great spot.
// Naples, apparently. //
He and Boortz as neighbors, barbecuing together ... now there’s an image!
Nope, they can all be in different locations. Often times Hannity's guests have been in Fox News Stations in other parts of the country, some have been via Skype or via a commercial web-based live streaming service such as U-Stream.
The technology has really gotten to a point where Web Streaming from personal/home studio's with professional quality is negating the need for formal studio's.
I'm an amateur radio guy, I stream online whenever I'm on-air via my QRZ page so my contacts can see me and my station. That's becoming increasingly popular. The video and audio streaming quality I'm able to deliver with a set (3) of mid-priced webcams and a studio quality microphone (Shure 58) is near broadcast quality. If I were to have better video streaming camera's I could easily do broadcast quality from home.

Its a nice place to live( well it was) I lived there for 28 years, 28 years ago. My career was in Naples when it was a “one traffic light town”. There was only one traffic light when I moved there and it just grew and grew and guess it is still growing.
He could Bar B Q with Bohner, he just purchased a place in near by Marco Island from what I read recently.
Prolly in Roanoke or Westlake near Glen Beck since he’s gonna be on Blaze TV. (Yankees around here seem to think 2 acres is a ranch.)
I heard Karl Rove had a condo there too. I’ve seen him on Fox, doing short segments from there.
Doesn’t Sean own a place in Ft. Myers?
Not too long after Cuomo made the statement referenced in the article, I contacted the NYS tourism board to inform them that, because of that comment, my conservative husband and I won’t be taking any more vacations in NY.
Over the past several years, we have taken 5 vacations of 1 week or slightly longer, in the upstate region. Beautiful countryside.
Texas would be the best bugout location.
Hannity, if he has any political ambitions, couldn't run successfully for Congress while living in New York.
