Colorado Democratic Sen. Mark Udall is inching ahead of Republican challenger Cory Gardner, according to a new poll that was reportedly commissioned by the same group running a $1.3 million ad campaign against Gardner.
Democratic pollster Public Policy Polling has Udall ahead by a slim margin of 47-43 percent. A poll done in March by the same group showed a much narrower race, with Udall ahead by only 42-40 percent.

The poll shows that Udall still has his work cut out for him, with 45 percent disapproving of his job performance as U.S. Senator compared to 42 percent who approve.
Those who responded to the survey identified themselves as 36 percent Democrat, 31 percent Republican and 33 percent “Independent/Other.”

I have to agree with you. Even though we don’t like the messenger, we are dealing with brainwashed fools who respond to prompts and are incapable of critical thinking. More and more people vote the check in their mailbox and don’t care about anything else. The wealthy elitists and college kids vote their religion. It’s a tough combination to beat.
Gardner is an excellent candidate. But the Udall’s have spread around the west like cancer.
The political landscape has changed. It's not 2008 anymore. This poll was sponsored by leftists who have sunk a million bucks already for Udall.
A few months ago, this same pollster who said they did not believe their own polling and didn't even report it until after the fact that St. Senator Heron from Pueblo, CO would lose. Pueblo is a Dem stronghold, but Heron lost ground by 24% in her recall election that she earlier won by 12%.
"Honest" PPP: yeah we got the winner right, but said only publicly about a week after the election results. LoL. Right sure uhuh.
A few short months ago, Colorado is the same place where 3 recalled Dem senator lost their seats. Two rats recalled and the third was scared into resigning.
And if you haven't noticed, Obama and Udall are tied at the hip. So how is Obama polling in Colorado recently? Oh Obama is down by -21% (59% - 38%) in a recent Colorado disapproval poll.
Democrats are clearly worried about this race.

Curious wording, 4 point race or 2 point race, not that much difference.
Republican registrations outnumber Dems, 944,000 to 902,000, ---and have higher turnout in off-year elections. So, the number should probably be reversed, 47% Gardner, 43% Udall.
CO means perpetual disappointment.
No, because a third of the CO GOP consists of hard-core liberals too.
Actually, the swing vote in Colorado is Hispanic, Asian, and Black.
They make up roughly 20% of eligible voters, and, as a group, they went 80% for Obama in 2012.
You might be surprised to learn that white voters supported Romney, 54%-44%, over Obama.
Karl Rove said on Fox that the Democrats ice spending millions of dollars in the Senate races to trash the Republican even before the final nominees chosen.
I think you’ll find that those groups are concentrated in the areas I described, though. Couple them with the college students in those areas and the voting mass outweighs the whites in the rest of the state.
Anyway, I just don’t like those dooshes in Boulder County.
Boulder, obviously, is more white and more Leftist than the average American town.
But, nationally, white college students gave Romney a slight majority in 2012.
Time and again I read that Republicans are losing the youth vote.
That is not correct.
We are losing the non-white youth vote.
Young people vote very much like their parents, but a little bit more to the Left.
Each year, thanks to 30 years of mass LEGAL immigration, young people become more and more non-white.
Consequently, each year, more young people vote for the Left.
