Terror is not down in the world but is in fact up, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) said on State of the Union Sunday, and according to the intelligence, “al Qaeda has metastasized.”
Discussing allegations against the NSA by left-wing journalist Glenn Greenwald, Feinstein said she was not familiar with some of the specific charges he was leveling but defended the value of the organization given the rise of terrorism in the world.
“We just went through the opening of the 9/11 museum,” she said. “I know they will come after us if they can. I see the intelligence. Terror is not down in the world. It is up. Both deaths, injuries, in many, many different places. Al Qaeda has metastasized. The question becomes how do we prevent an attack in this country.”

The gov is still perpetuating the myth that there haven't been preventable attacks on US soil. There was that Muslim army psychiatrist who shot up an army base. There were the mad Chchnyan terrorists who were here "because they were threatened at home". We're still arming terrorists in Syria and not connecting the dots to see if any weapons we supplied in Syria, Egypt and Libya (etc) were used to kidnap and murder Christians.
There are US citizens fighting in these ill conceived globalist adventures. It's bad enough that some of them have become radicalized and return to the US. How can we stop its spread into the US when (1) we're arming terrorists and (2) we let people in the US from places where these wars have happened. Refugee status in the US should end, for anyone. Those who've helped us did it to help their own countries, they made a choice, and we owe them nothing. The sad fact is they've enabled adventures we should never have gotten involved in.
How do we stop it from spreading here? Secure the borders, send home anyone in the US illegally, and don't offer refugee status or residence to anyone. We bring these people in, we bring their problems with them.
