Meet Happy, McDonald's terrifying new mascot. Happy is the new ambassador of the restaurant's new healthy Happy Meals. Maybe McDonald's is trying to scare children into eating their vegetables.
Happy is the "ambassador for balanced and wholesome eating." He is encouraging kids to eat the healthy Happy Meal options: fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy and water or juice. He is especially welcoming of the new Low Fat Strawberry Go-Gurt. Because nothing says "finish your carrot sticks" like a psychotic stare from the side of a box.

They have used this in the Russian McDonalds for the last year or two. I agree, it’s quite creepy.
With the arms like big ears, the insincere smile, and the fake eyes, I mistook it for Obama!
Honestly, I always thought the current McDonald’s mascot was even creepier. Heck I’d prefer this mascot if you would just get rid of the old one.

Nice. Hey, haven’t they proven, just this past week, that fat is not bad for you? Especially children need fats, even animal fats, for nourishment. Recently I went high fat myself (butter, non non-fat yogurt, etc), I didn’t gain weight (I don’t eat a lot) and I feel great, good cholesterol went way up.
That’s what they’re saying, which is what the late Dr. Atkins always said.
FUN FACT! Fast Foods wrapped in paper printed with Michelle Obama’s frowning face tend to go stale far more quickly than fast foods wrapped in paper printed with pictures of Sarah Palin’s smiling face. No one knows exactly why./
