White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough and National Security Adviser Susan Rice hosted a bipartisan delegation of senators late Tuesday for a secret meeting focused on foreign policy, several sources with knowledge of the discussion told Yahoo News.
Senator Bob Corker, the top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, alluded to the meeting on Wednesday, as the panel held a hearing on whether and how to overhaul the signature law of the global war on terrorism.
“I know we both attended sort of a discussion last night that I found to be one of the most bizarre I've attended on Foreign Relations on foreign policy in our country,” Corker said at one point, referring to himself and Senator Bob Menendez (D.-New Jersey), the committee’s chairman.
“I know several of us were involved in a very bizarre discussion last night. This continues a very bizarre discussion,” Corker said at another point.
The Tennessee Republican did not say where or with whom the meeting took place (or why it was bizarre).
But several sources confirmed to Yahoo News that McDonough hosted the talks at the White House.
In addition to Corker and Menendez, Senators Susan Collins (R.-Maine), Carl Levin (D-Michigan), Jon Tester (D.-Montana) and John Walsh (D.-Montana) also attended the meeting, according to the sources, who requested anonymity.

The muzzie in chief and his owners don’t like the global war on terrorism. He is now trying to unilaterally re-write it. How could that be bizarre, Corker? I mean, you love the guy as long as he is buying you with a cheap price for you and your cronies for the Tennessee Valley Association properties, dams and power generators. Why should this surprise you, coming from what is now acknowledges as islamic oil companies bankrolling anti-fracking films and activism, to keep us hooked on their oil.

I suspect this is the type of stunt that was done to Mitt Romney to get him to shut down about Benghazi.
Give them briefing on what they are told is TOP SECRETS!!!! And have them sign non disclosure agreements or threaten them with espionage or something.
The white house is pathetic, but they know the way to play the game down and dirty.
The word, Senator Corker, is not "bizarre", it is "threatening".

There are the obvious flashpoints: Syria, the Ukraine, and Nigeria. There are sudden disturbing noises from Libya and Egypt. China is rippling the diplomatic waters in Vietnam and the Philippines. Pakistan has just conducted some interesting raids in Waziristan.
In short, it's quite a list, populated by unattended issues that should have been the proper topic of public discussion, not double secret behind-closed-doors whispering. The Most Transparent Administration In History is once again huddling under the covers with a flashlight and giggling like truant children. It would be nice to have some adults involved.
If you all had watched FRONTLINE last night you’d all be afraid today. One guy who owns a very small computer company said an FBI agent (Working for the NSA) personally delivered a “demand letter” to him demanding information on all of his clients. And the letter threatened him if he told anyone about the letter. He worried about it for a while but eventually took it to his lawyer. They sued. Apparently they lost the first round because they said the NSA dropped the matter after they lost on appeal. They were afraid of what the SC would rule so they didn’t want it to get that far.
A man who was with Google said there were probably only two people at Google who knew about the NSA’s demands for information. Personally, I believe Edward Snowden. He said the tech companies were voluntarily sharing information with the NSA. I also believe all those tech companies ARE part of the spy system.
