House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., repeatedly put the blame for the Veterans Affairs scandal on former President George W. Bush, while arguing that her party has worked hard for veterans in recent years.
Pelosi took a shot at Bush while saying that the scandal is a high priority for Obama. "He sees the ramifications of some seeds that were sown a long time ago....

I’m surprised she didn’t blame the Jews.
you ask a GREAT question and it could rupture nutty nan’s two remaining brain cells if she thought about it.
*it could rupture nutty nans two remaining brain cells if she thought about it.*
LOL
I knew this was coming as soon as they started pushing the story that Obama was notified about the VA problem when he took office.

Millions Nancy? Read this my silly, Liberal dear. It’s less than a million that have been used the VA health care system.
“—711,986 have used VA health care between fiscal year 2002 and the third-quarter fiscal year 2011.—”
“In the decade since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, 2,333,972 American military personnel had been deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan or both, as of Aug. 30,2011. Of that total, 1,353, 627 have since left the military and — 711,986 have used VA health care between fiscal year 2002 and the third-quarter fiscal year 2011.—”
Are Warren Harding and Richard Nixon to blame, too?
FACT#1: VA spending nearly tripled from 2000 to 2013, while the population of veterans declined by 4.3 million.
FACT#2: wounded warriors coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan are not increasing treatment costs. Those vets are actually far cheaper to treat than aging vets. A Congressional Budget Office report found that they cost $4,800, on average, in 2010 compared with $8,800 for other veterans who used the system.
FACT#3: Iraq and Afghan vets account for 7 percent of those treated, but they were responsible for only 4 percent of its health costs. Iraq and Afghan vets are typically younger and healthier than the average VHA patient and as a result are less expensive to treat.
Suck-it, you liar Pelosi.
1. Hillary Clinton
2. Moanica Lewdinsky
She has two? Who would have thought!
Nan is as vile a creature as creation has ever seen.
Quit sugar-coatin' it and tell us how you REALLY feel. :o)
Bush didn’t lie about WMDs either, it all took place in the Clinton Administration. The fault lies squarely on President Clinton’s shoulders!
......or......
President found out on TV that the story about WMDs was not true and he is angry as hell and will launch an investigation.
It’s so sad that some people are so brainwashed that they’ll buy this line of crap.
Everyone seems to agree that wait times has been a problem for decades, fine then will someone tell me what has changed?
Why now has this exploded?
Many times in situations like these people might say follow the money,in that vein, can someone tell me when did this policy of paying bonuses to people for shortening waiting lists begin? It seems to me these bonuses were the incentive to have a secret list so as to make things look better than they were
Perhaps, but there's never been a more worthless one.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
The “surge” in applications for VA health services comes not only from the Iraq and Afghanistan military engagements, but in large part from aging veterans of the Vietnam War, who are now entering their retirement years with long-term health problems incurred during or shortly after their service deployment to Viet Nam. These are the guys dying of untreated cancers and respiratory problems.
I am surprised that Jean-Francois Kerre` has not himself applied for VA treatment. He earned a Purple Heart in Viet Nam, where he served, you know.
Let’s give President Obama credit.....he proposed to make veterans buy their own health insurance while the Dems voted to cut retirement benefits for veterans
It is clear how much President Obama loves veterans!
