Rep. Bridenstine: Why Does USDA Need Submachine Guns?
Newsmax ^ | 23 May 2014 | By Cathy Burke

Following the Department of Agriculture's May 7 solicitation for submachine guns with 30-round magazine clips, Rep. Jim Bridenstine is demanding an explanation.

"The fear of my constituents is that the USDA is expanding outside of its intended mission," the Oklahoma Republican wrote the agency on Wednesday.

According to AmmoLand Shooting Sports News, the timing of the USDA request for the weaponry is suspect, coming "just one month after the [Cliven] Bundy embarrassment."

"It seems that the USDA, which oversees America’s vast tracks of forested land, may be preparing itself in the event some cowboys want their heads of cattle to munch government-owned grass," the website stated.

Bundy gained national attention in April during an armed standoff in Nevada over cattle grazing rights.

instead of asking the USDA "why do you need submachine guns?", how about some of these guys in congress grow a set and tell the USDA "YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM !" ?

They need the machine guns for the same reason they need the freight cars and camps.

Part of Konig Barry’s fundamental tranformation of America - into a police state that would make Stalin and Hitler envious.

You build a ground swell better this way ... :-) ...

Jim Bridenstine is my representative and I was one of those who voted him into office. I’m glad to have him around!

Well ... it wouldn’t make Stalin and Hitler happy knowing that the citizens are just as well armed ... :-) ...

It’s currently a stalemate.

Thanks for helping him get elected. I’m moving into his district and can’t wait to get there.

> It’s currently a stalemate.

At the current rate Barry is arming the alphabet agencies, and the rate they are buyin ammunition, they will have the people outgunned soon, if not outmanned.

The only question remaining is, “Will the U.S. military stand by and let them do it?”

Barry is very busy stuffing the military command with ideologues loyal to the cause, so it’s not likely the military will intervene. Once they get rid of the Christians and Oathkeepers, the military might even participate.

The Congress and Senate have done NOTHING AT ALL to hinder or stop the breathtaking militarization of regulatory agencies.

The people will certainly be outgunned, but they won’t be outmanned if they retain their resolve.

He asks a very good question. Something strange is going on with Comrade Obummer administration. Doe he plan on taking over the government in 2016 when is term is up?

Just look at the [lack of] enthusiasm of Ukrainian military when they are sent to kill their own people for political reasons. Desertions abound.

It will be worse in professional armed forces; older adults will not be as obedient to criminal orders of their superiors as a 18 y/o man. The army can fight citizens only when there are only a few of those citizens, and they are demonized, and when the soldiers think that the law is on their side.

You’re right, Bridenstine is excellent. Thanks for sending him to Mordor on the Potomac. We need about 300 more like him in the House.

Seems fairly obvious to me. The different government agencies are preparing to go to war against each other while fighting over the crumbs that are left after the economic destruction of the US. What else could it be ? They surely cannot take on the American people. They would need 50 million Chinese troops to even have a chance to pull that off.

The Egyptians and the Ukraines didn’t fire on their own people. I don’t put that faith in Obama’s swat team wannabes!

Obama wants a ‘Civilian National Security Force’ that’s as powerful and well-funded as the military. And rather than recruit from sources outside of the Federal government, just arm the reliable government union members that are already on government payrolls.

And there is none of that nasty ‘Soldier’s Oath’ stuff, either. Might get in the way of firing upon other US citizens. The current version of the oath:

‘I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.’

If not bound by this oath, then the armed representative of the Federal government may fire upon ‘domestic or foreign’ individuals without ever having to have them declared ‘enemy’, or following the Constitution.

‘We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.’

And if this does not make your blood run cold, you have no blood in you.

Why does the Capitol Police Force need automatic weapons?

During his coronation, the Kenyan bragged he was going to create his own “civilian” army. He just didn’t tell us that he was creating it to use against US!

>>The people will certainly be outgunned,<<

Please clarify your definition of outgunned. Do you mean heavier weapons or fully automatic or artillery, just what do you mean by that term?
