If the BATF can’t ‘inspect’ Forms 4473 on a whim, why should a state or local entity be allowed such? There is a reason why Federal Law prohibits this; it’s called prevention of gun registration.

Do criminals actually go up to stores and shop for their weapons?

The stores could not be within 500 feet of a school or park.

... because it's a big problem with school kids shopping at gun stores?

Rahm Emanuel's Chicago is more dangerous than Al Capone's Chicago.

In Al Capone's Chicago, you could buy a Thompson submachine gun for $225 by mail.

Sure, video recording all Chicago gun store sales should make all the difference.....

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law . . .

Amendment II
. . . shall not be infringed.

The Second Amendment receives a higher level of protection than the First. America’s enemies in Chicago government need to learn this.

Crooks don’t buy guns, they steal them.

Are gun owners required to wear yellow Stars of David, too?

So all the violent criminals are going to videotape themselves buying illegal guns from the trunk of a car on the streets of Chicago and send the video to the police?

It’s obvious that they want to take guns from non-violent, law-abiding citizens and deliberately leave them in the hands of violent criminals.

and require them to videotape every sale to deter customers from buying firearms for crooks.

This country's media is a vile joke.

Why does anyone live in these he$$holes like Chicago, New York, Los Angles, and San Franfreako?

Come down to TX or AZ and get away from these urban tyrants. Gun ownership in AZ is almost as easy as one can fine. Both Open carry and Consitutional carry prevail. Yes, we all have to live by NICS since the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act (Brady Act) of 1993, Public Law 103-159, was introduced.

1 U.S. States that have implemented Constitutional Carry
1.1 Alaska
1.2 Arizona
1.3 Arkansas
1.4 Vermont
1.5 Wyoming (for residents)
1.6 Oklahoma (residents of constitutional carry states)

Have I missed something. Has there been an increase in people buying guns for crooks? Is that something like “Cash for Clunkers”?

Yeah...cuz crooks always pay retail + a mark-up for the straw purchaser. I’d wager yer average gangbanger pays 20 cents on the dollar to get a stolen gun, or just steals it his own bad self.

You can buy a gun “legitimately/legally” in Chicago???

My question is, even with this revelation...

Why would you want to now???
