Will Virginia GOPs be fooled? (Cantor)

Cheesy Kabuki — Panicked Cantor Claims He’s Anti-Amnesty Champion: Now we know how embattled GOP Majority Leader Eric Cantor plans to hold on to his seat against a primary challenger. A week after lobbyist Haley Barbour praised Cantor for his commitment to passing an immigration amnesty–and claimed that Republican voters support it – Cantor dropped a mailer into GOP voters’ boxes claiming that he’s … a fighter against amnesty! (“CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN ERIC CANTOR IS STOPPING THE OBAMA REID PLAN TO GIVE ILLEGAL ALIENS AMNESTY”).

There’s nothing subtle about what’s going on here. Cantor clearly favors some form of immigration amnesty–maybe not the Senate’s bill, but a sweeping legalization of the undocumented population. He has said he’s “committed” to immigration reform and he’s one of the few Republicans who endorsed John Boehner’s so-called immigration “principles,” the last of which is legalization (“these persons could live legally and without fear in the U.S.”). He’s been writing his own version of the DREAM Act, legitimizing young undocumented immigrants–as recently as last week he said that bill was “still under discussion.” He supports Rep. Denham’s so-called ENLIST Act--a limited measure significant mainly because it would act as a Trojan Horse giving Reid’s Senate a chance to insert a much larger amnesty in “conference” with the House. Cantor was the behind-the-scenes driver of the attempt to attach ENLIST to a must-pass defense authorization bill.

When Barbour–a former RNC chair who now personifies the business lobbyists’ well-funded push for legalization and more immigrants–praised Cantor’s underlying commitment to his cause, he was only voicing what Hill observers already knew.

I’m in Cantors district. I’ll vote for Dave Brat no matter what. I’m getting the hit pieces in the mail from Cantor and I will not be changed. Cantor has to go. He’s pro gun and he’s anti abortion. That’s to keep in favor with conservatives. Being pro illegal voids all other stands, and he knows it. Cantor is the prime example of why we need term limits.

That was the Rubio-Schumer bill.

Stopping?

Ditto. Cantor’s ads are as deceitful as any by the Dems where it’s the norm, the standard.

Brat has my vote but the sheeple in the district are not likely to kick out the “great conservative leader” (NOT!) Cantor......

There needs to be a bold campaign to expose his deception.....and it looks like Brat doesn’t have enough money to be bold.....though he is trying.....

Easy on my hometown. There’s a reason why people live in the suburbs, outside the claws of the corrupt city government.

Richmond is a great town that’s grown rapidly and has kept up with the infrastructure. Roads etc. lt’s looking more and more like NoVa but without the traffic. Lots of conservatives here. Especially in the west end.

If America “had a dream” to live prosperous and free,
Then the dream must killed, and consumed you see.
The Obamavultures continue feasting, while Boehner sits still,
“Both” parties know our pain as required collateral damage to fulfill.

What word did our Doormat Republicans not understand,
When Obama was first crowned The Tyrant of the Land?
Was it “Fundamentally” or “Transform” or “The United States of America?”

Why are these confused Leader Doormat Republicans still kept in power?
Why haven’t our TEA Party House Members sent Boehner to the back bench?
What does it take be it Benghazi, NSA, IRS, DOJ, or Delay to Death of our Vets?
Who are the Patriot House Members of “both” Parties to vote out Boehner?

When do We, the People rise up and declare that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!?
When do our elected House Members stand and deliver?
When does the well-deserved Impeachment of Obama begin?
When do our House Constitutional Checks and Balances kick in?

Back in DC, things are as calm as can be,
Obama lies, frames, blames, denies and delays,
Allowing the Obamavultures to feast as before,
While Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Ryan, and Issa,
Hold open the race to the bottom door - - - -.

It is time, - - - - time a change in 2014.

Will Virginia GOPs be fooled?

Next to the word gullible in the dictionary is the picture of a typical rank-n-file Republican voter.

Having grown up in the Short Pump area, I hate what they’ve done there. I avoid it whenever possible.
