How many military families make the same demands?

Or one who *did* take his meds.
These shooters are almost always on antidepressants.

Had his son obtained his concealed carry, he would have had more of a chance than waiting for the police and a toe-tag. When seconds count, the police are "crime historians".

This guy went political from the get-go, with a canned political response. An activist found his microphone, and possibly a new career.
In a few days or so, I expect to see this guy teamed-up with Mark Kelly and Gabby.

Agree.
Losing a child must be horrendous, I can’t imagine it (thank God).
Getting in front of a microphone is incomprehensible.
Prayers for you and your son.

This father obviously loved his son ... he’s in my prayers. I originally thought it was the father of the killer blaming the NRA... but it wasn’t. It was a good man who loved his son... let’s just give him a pass and pray for God to lift some of the pain he’s in... Our fight is NOT with him.

Richard Martinez should be held accountable for his son's crimes.
It's what happens when LIBERALS raise children.
Their values drive their children crazy.

Six students weren’t “shot dead” as the article mistakenly implies. Three students were shot dead and three were stabbed to death. But, it is convenient to the narrative to make the error that overstates the number of shooting deaths, inasmuch as the narrative is that guns are bad, m’kay. So, double the death toll at the expense of accuracy, and plod Forward!

Years ago someone went into a place in Washington State and shot several people. Bill Clinton then said this was proof we needed tougher gun control.
At the same time down in Arkansas, two people were kidnapped near here, taken up into Missouri and had their throats cut. No mention by Bill.

Had his son been struck by lightning he would have felt the same grief. But you can’t legislate against lightning.

“Nut control” can get out of hand, too. It’s a slippery slope.
There was a time when sane people were being locked up, never to be seen again. I don’t want to go back to that. I don’t want to lock up innocent people because of the actions of one. The same as I don’t want to take away everyone’s guns because of one nut.
To: Lizavetta
My condolences for your loss. I too, understand.

The grieving father of one of the six students shot dead by the 'virgin killer' in California on Friday, led a rousing call for a change in gun laws at a memorial today. I gotta agree, "Not One More!"
Let's make sure everyone who wants a firearm for self defense has one!
No more massacre zones!

Yep. The libs won’t let us institutionalize many who should not be on the streets. They disarm the public and then wonder why the criminally insane are able to massacre people. They are not very bright. And yet the voters keep voting for them. Voter fail.

I will. There is no excuse for trying to take away my rights. Dad should be burying his son and grieving, not pushing an agenda which will only lead to more slaughters like the one that killed his child. There is something wrong with that guy.
