Former U.S. Congressman and Lt. Col. Allen West expressed his opposition to a potential move by Pres. Obama to use military enlistment as a vehicle to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. In a post on his website on Thursday, Lt. Col. West said, "the purpose of serving our nation should not be about earning citizenship. It should be about being a guardian of the Republic." Lt. Col. West added that he'll speak out against any Member of Congress who supports a policy to grant a military amnesty.

The voice of reason.
It seems like American citizens would have a discrimination claims that aliens are being hired by military rather than citizens. Discrimination on national origin grounds.
We could really give these clowns a fight in the courts if only our side was not so defeated.
Of course the Dems want a military full of illegals. They will all obey ANY orders without question or face losing their priveleges-just like all other government dependents. So when the order to fire on “dissidents” who oppose the government comes the military will be Obamas SS.
As a sidebar: Recently I was talking to a liberal and he said part of the reason Republicans/Conservatives do not like Obama is because of racism. I asked him, “Would you vote for Allen West?” Of course he said no way, and I told him it must be because he’s a racist. He was actually reasonable enough to realize the hypocrisy there. That is not usually the case.

so long as "illegal aliens" include OTM (other than Mexican) combined with this current treasonous administration's open border policies & consistent and persistent Favoritism of Muhammedan interests, there is potential for great danger in granting amnesty to any alien with interests opposing Traditional American principles, values and interests.
It is the hiring of mercenaries.
It makes absolutely no sense for illegal aliens. We already have a program of expedited citizenship for green card holders who enlist in the military.
And right now, the military is downsizing forcing thousands of military personnel out of the active forces. Why should we have illegal aliens filling slots that could be filled by American citizens and legal immigrants? We don't have a recruitment problem.
This is just another ploy by the pro-amnesty crowd to get the gullible and the ignorant to agree to amnesty. It is the camel's nose under the tent.

It’s like saying that serving in the Military is a form of punishment rather than an honor and a privilege.
Giving illegal aliens amnesty in exchange for serving the country demeans the sacrifice of those who have done it for the love of country and liberty.
There are more than enough patriotic Americans who are standing in line to join the armed services. We don’t need a bunch of illegal aliens taking THEIR jobs.
Many will be a security risk. The gangs and cartels will all send lots of volunteers.
