murders...occur on the streets of our big cities, in ones, twos, and threes. Gun deaths, caused by gangbangers...or police in shootouts with them, and which occur in great enough numbers, actually skew the statistics both on "gun violence" and our mortality rates.
In the US, if you don't get shot by a ghetto-rat or die in a car wreck, you're likely to live to a ripe old age.
Whether we like it or not, I think this is eventually going to revert to a modern day version of "cowboys" and "gangstas."

The last time I got a large malt at a SONIC I found it to be a large cup with a small amount of ice cream in the bottom. The rest was filled to the top with whipped topping.
It was horrible. I’ve never gotten a malt or milk shake there since.
Their Cherry Limeade is great!

With the technology breakthrough of the insulated cup with the screw on lid and sturdy straw I can provide my own liquid refreshment thus rendering the Styrofoam cup obsolete.

Weve considered the views and desires of our customers and employees that staff the drive-ins across the country, the company said, according to USA Today. Accordingly, were asking that customers refrain from bringing guns onto our patios or into our indoor dining areas. With respect to the storage of guns in vehicles, we ask that our customers continue to honor local laws.
A useless PC BS statement if I ever heard one.

Diet cherry limeade has been my favorite on a hot
Summer day. Often, the drink arrives devoid of
cherries.

To be fair, I wonder how many stores there are and how often any such store gets robbed.
One can’t blame the no-gun policy until enough data has been collected to show that there are more crimes occurring at Sonic than occurred either pre-gun ban announcement, or at similar establishments without gun bans.
Whoever robbed that Sonic may not have been aware of the policy announcement. It is not something that was widely publicized, to my knowledge—I didn’t know of it until minutes ago, when I saw this thread. In the real world, most customers are not carrying firearms anyway.
I like the Sonic onion rings. They are dipped in what tastes like donut batter. The ice cream blasts are good, too.

And the foot-long chili dogs. Yeah, that’s too bad.
Okie-born myself, I’m surprised as well.
A Sonic is coming to my town, I may do drive-up.
