Republicans have a mandate for their Benghazi probe

Democrats in recent weeks weighed whether to abstain from involvement in House Republicans' new Benghazi investigative committee, labeling it an unnecessary probe into questions that have already been answered.

The American people disagree.

A new Washington Post-ABC News poll shows a majority of Americans -- 51 percent -- approve of the new panel, while 42 percent disapprove.

For those who think the scandal of the week is working somehow to Obama's benefit. I don't think so. For the WaPo to even report this, the real numbers must be devastating.

As a newly aware & concerned obama says: “The U.S. has always had a pretty sacred rule, and that is we don’t leave our men or women in uniform behind. And that dates back to the earlier days of our Revolution,” Mr. Obama said. “We saw an opportunity. We were concerned about Sgt. Bergdahl’s health … We seized that opportunity.”

I don’t watch much news tv. But last night I watched some Fox News and saw the New Hillary. She has had Work Done and then the new book makes sure she can say “Benghazi has been fully dealt with in the past “ but I still don’t think it’s gonna fly.

She has never even answered questions about the lie that it was from a stupid YouTube video.

I don’t think she’s getting away with it. If she runs and the media is the usual dem lap dog, our money is going to Benghazi billboards on every highway. We can’t just keep giving our presidency to enemies.

We need to be aware of the dangerous riptides about to engulf Hillary.

News hound Bob Woodward Definitely Doesn’t Buy Hillary’s Benghazi Denial. Woodward doesn’t believe Hillary's whine that it's all about politics. The reporter known for making news claims there are still “serious, unanswered questions about this.”

Hillary's book stoutly declares that everything there is to know about Benghazi has already been revealed....she is hoping to silence Republicans by charging politics is behind the continuing probe.

Woodward will not be dissuaded. ".....one of the questions I have -- did she keep a diary? Obama confirmed to Woodward that he keeps a diary. Woodward noted. “Ronald Reagan kept a very detailed diary of Iran Contra, and he finally turned it over.”

The veteran Post reporter also knocked Clinton and Obama....... noting it’s not all about partisan politics. “There are facts,” he asserted. “There is neutral inquiry. And there is a way to look at this and get that information and see if there is new information.”

Next thing you know, Bob Woodward will be comparing Benghazi to Watergate (/snix).

Yes, it won't fly because Trey Gowdy has clearly articulated a series of questions that we don't know the answers to yet ... but he will find them out.

Obama has set the table for Gowdy with his justification for swapping five terrorists for one American. I would love to see Gowdy pounce on Obama’s newly found reverence for the “sacred principle” of leaving none behind.
