Cantor is as corrupt as any Democrat, and will have lots of dead people voting for him. I don’t see him losing, but I sure hope he does.

Fleecing US tax-payers is not biblical.
Biblical would be to hold the Mexican government responsible for it’s own citizens. Anything else is irrational.

Cantor is an unrefined scumbag.

So lets see if the Bible says anything about the concept that illegal aliens shouldnt be the people who decide who will be a US citizen.
Because thats who made the decision: their parents, who decide that their offspring will be part of our nation whether we like it or not.

He seems to have the natural ability to piss off a lot of people.

I have heard when they say, "We don't arrest the children when the parents rob a bank!"
And that is true, but, I always want to ask, "Do we allow the kids to keep the bank notes?"
And the answer is always, NO!
These parents are specifically breaking the law, so that they can get their kids here! If you don't believe that, then see where there has been a HUGE influx of new illegal children being dropped off and picked up at the borders! They know that several Congressional DUMBASSES are pushing for passage of the Dream Act! So they are trying to get their kids here ASAP!!!

John 10:1
Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter...by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.
This verse combined with the Romans 13 passage, that Bryan24 has already mentioned, makes it very clear that Cantor is wrong.

Well, he is Jewish, so he can’t be expected to know the New Testament.

Biblical, hmmmm, like the plagues? I’ll go along with that amnesty is just like the biblical plagues of boils, frogs, lice, locusts, flies. Hell yeah I can see where cantors coming from in this light, amnesty is truly biblical in relation to the plagues of Egypt!

Thank you for posting that. As I read through the thread I was waiting for someone to point out that Cantor certainly has not read his Bible. The whole theological underpinning of Christian salvation has to do with Original Sin. Judaism speaks for itself the numbers 14:18 as you quoted.
It is vexing to witness public officials of high rank misquoting Scripture or certainly mischaracterizing it. Whatever one thinks of the immorality of visiting punishment for the sins of the fathers onto the sons, mischaracterizing the Bible does not inspire confidence in the perspicacity of people like Cantor. If he wants to make a secular argument he should do so but he should not resort to mangling the Bible and two of the world's great religions to do so.

The parents of the dream stealers should be held accountable not the innocent American parents of children who also dream.
Note that Cantor does not quote any Scripture that I read.
