MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico's Attorney General's Office is defending its decision to prosecute a U.S. Marine veteran who was jailed after he drove into Mexico in April with three guns in his truck.

The office said in a statement Friday that Andrew Tahmooressi was arrested on weapon charges because he was carrying a pistol, shotgun and rifle and ammunition when he crossed into Tijuana.

Maybe the Marines dad should get on TV wearing a sombrero and speaking Spanish. That sort of thing seems to work.

Unfortunately, as it turns out, this guy didn’t desert, teach US tactics to the Taliban or help kill his fellow soldiers. In fact he served honorably which must be punished severely.

It means that if there was a pair of testicles in the State Department or White Hut we would have sufficient US military forces on the southern border to prevent the return of 20 million illegals we would send back to Mexico.

If we had a real president he’d send the rest of the U.S. Marines to go get him, if necessary.

Of course, after a truly closed border, and no money transfers allowed out of our country into Mexico for about a week they’d be begging us to take him back.

We dont need no stinking badges sound familiar.

They got one of us through what is probably a simple mistake and no one was harmed by his actions and its a big deal and we have how many of their citizens who deliberately knowingly violate our laws for their personal and perpetual profit and we should change our laws to accommodate by the way.

Bread and circus used to be confined to Rome but not anymore.

Another reason not to visit that hellhole. Why people still go to Puerto Vallarta is beyond me. Or any other “resort” down there. There should be raised such a storm over this that every patriotic American should boycott that country.

I think there should be a 10% fee on money sent out of the country.

Hmm... What we should do is INVADE Mexico and take over the whole thing.

Most of their citizens are ‘our’ citizens anyway, so at least we could make them pay taxes.

And we would have control of the drug traffic, and control of the borders of the Southern States.

And free Tequila.

I think the drug cartels have bought off the INS or whatever it goes by now. There has to be some reason why we are opening the floodgates on the southern border. Cloward Piven maybe. You can’t have open borders and a welfare state. The Mexican gov’t is complicit in the fiasco. There is no reason that they should not take orders from the US gov’t.

The government of Mexico must take some responsibility in this matter. If Obama henchmen won’t, perhaps the citizens of the US should, Maybe a massive boycott against Mexico - no vacations at their resorts, begin prosecuting their citizens who do have visas or work permits for everything possible - deny work opportunities, even if legal. Begin a citizens revolt against everything Mexican - including their flag.
