It began with secret texts to untraceable phones. Meetings took place in seedy bars, dark alleys, gas stations. Actual documents came in packages without notes, without return addresses.

You would think the secrets being passed dealt with national security, organized crime or the corruption of high public officials. Nope.

There should be a designated “Whistle-Blower Day” in America-—say, July 4th.

EVERY damned person with inside knowledge of abuse in ANY manner, in ANY department, state or fed-—give them a podium—give them exposure to tell the truth—ALL AT ONE TIME!!!!!!

It would be a marathon, and people would WATCH and ENJOY the fresh airing out of corruption.

FoxNews should finance it and if word got out, other media might broadcast it if only for defense-—if thousands were given an opportunity, all at one time to air the dirty laundry, well...think of the ramifications. (Fox’s ratings would go through the ROOF.)

Safety in numbers, guys-—they can’t arrest you ALL. And, IF they TRIED, we’d know every damned one of you and would have your backs.

The evil has been going on for years by the "government medicine" establishment.

My Wife was a public health payback with the Indian Health Service. The federal government medical care was no different between the federal prison, indian health or veterans administration. There was always political payback to a cabal of high salaried government administrators in all services.

My wife did blow the whistle on the situation at Springfield Medical System, which was the main prison hospital in the medical system. This was tied into the infamous murder of three doctors in the South Dakota Indian Health Service. She went on 60 Minutes who ultimately botched the report (in hindsight, this was obviously intentional with the occupation media).

The government did commit reprisals against her during her transfer from the IHS to the prison hospital. They delayed by one day her travel orders for a break in service with her government retirement and benefits. This erased everything she earned.

I remember at one dinner crunching the budget numbers and expressing that every native american could benefit from a BlueCross/Blue Shield Gold plan by switching to private insurance. I pointed out during dinner that the IHS could cut their costs in half. A doctor from the local VA followed me into the restroom. He told me they would make my Wife's life miserable and never to mention my observations again.

Yep. That is our government. This was in as early as 1987 with the murder of the doctors happening in 1994.

A particularly odiferous episode involved charges that the senator and his wife had tried to sabotage safety inspections of an air-charter firm owned by Murl Bellew, a Daschle family friend who taught Tom how to fly. The scandal erupted and triggered an official investigation when a Bellew small plane chartered by the Indian Health Service crashed in North Dakota, killing the pilot and three doctors en route to an Indian-reservation clinic. Forest Service inspectors had been arguing that Bellew’s firm should be banned from getting government contracts because the operation had been unsafe for years. Senator Daschle obligingly pushed legislation taking the Forest Service out of the business of inspecting small-plane carriers, and senior FAA bureaucrats said Linda had also tried to submarine a proposal to train Forest Service inspectors to conduct FAA investigations. An FAA inspector reported a cover-up: Documents showing the Daschles‘ assiduous efforts to minimize inspections of Bellew’s planes were shredded by FAA officials under Linda‘s thumb. While an I.G. report failed to find Linda guilty of any lawbreaking, there’s an old saying in Washington: The scandal isn‘t what’s illegal, the real scandal is what‘s legal.

Daschle disappeared for a bit, but it appears the obama administration has tried to get him in with HHS.

There is no solution with government health care. There is however a great evil.
