Illegal immigrants have been pouring into the United States, and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) suggested he is willing to work with President Barack Obama to give them amnesty.
Days before what has turned into a contentious June 10 primary against Dave Brat, who has been surging in the polls after centering his campaign on countering amnesty, CBS6 anchor Bill Fitzgerald asked Cantor what the country could do about its illegal immigrants and the children "coming across the border now."
Cantor first falsely insinuated that he was not for amnesty because he was against passing the Senate's bill without changes. He then pivoted by saying if Obama, who enacted the Deferred Action program that has given some illegal immigrant children temporary amnesty and has threatened to unilaterally ease deportations, could demonstrate trustworthiness on immigration, he could work with him on granting amnesty to illegal immigrant children.
"But I have told the President there are some things that we can work on together," Cantor said. "We can work on the border security bill together. We can work on things like the Kids."
Cantor was referring to what has commonly been referred to as his "Kids Act," which, as Breitbart News reported, would grant amnesty to illegal immigrants who were brought to America through "no fault of their own"--like many of the illegal immigrant children who have been pouring into the country in recent weeks.

We all knew that this was about turning amnesty into “for the children.”
What the hell is wrong with these fools?!
These children belong to someone. Maybe their parents have no clue they ran for the border. Maybe a human trafficker stole them and want them to work in a Gringo sweatshop. That’s all the Chamber of Commerce wants is cheap labor. Someone to replace Americans who require reasonable working conditions.
To Hell with America’s children. Let’s grant the future to Mexico’s children — not that any child is undeserving of potential on their native soil.
Eric Cantor on Border Crisis: Let’s Work with Obama to ...........
Eric, This is your wake up call. You cannot work with Obama. Obama doesn’t care if you work with him or not. He’s going to do as he pleases.
While there I struck up a conversation with a woman from Vietnam. She was there with her dad who was going through the ceremony. She had already been through the legal steps to become a U.S. citizen.
I asked her about amnesty. I thought she was going to hit the roof. She was clear that she had done it the right way, her dad was doing it the right way and that everyone else should do it the right way. She had a very low opinion of amnesty.
and then every member of their family , Oh-lay
We have an immigrations systems, based on the rule of law, that has worked well for our country since it was implemented.
Ignoring it has created all sorts of chaos, socially and economically.
I have a suggestion. How about we apply the laws as they currently exist? Yes, it will be hard. But in the end, it’s the right thing to do.
We got into this mess by ignoring our immigration laws. Ignoring them more will only make matters worse.
Charge the parents with child abuse for forcing their kids to break the law. Put people like Cantor on the spot, and make the libs defend child abuse. I can’t make my kids steal so they will have better lives. If I grow pot in the basement so my daughter can afford to go to Yale, the government will still take my kid away when I’m caught (and all my money and house). Make illegals live in the same legal system as me.
How about we kill every one that breaks the law crossing the border illegally? Geez, mehiko ain’t as forgiving of lawbreakers!
Sickening.
Let’s get a ship and takre the back to Mexico or whatever country they came from!
I think I hate RINOs like him, more than libtards.
Good grief, raggedy ann has more of a spine in dealing with this intentional disaster.
right back to amnesty
and how do we give kids “amnesty” without giving it to their parents?
The parent should be arrested for child abandonment
I heard they were coming over in buses, and the BP is not allowed to stop them.
If illegals did not vote for DemoRats, none of this would be happening. NONE.
Politically correct, vote-winning interpretations of the Constitution's uniform Rule of Naturalization aside, Clause 4 of Section 8 of Article I, the states have never delegated to the feds, via the Constituiton, the specific power to regulate immigration. This is evidenced by the following excerpt from Thomas Jefferson's writings where he clarifies this issue in terms of the 10th Amendment nonotheless.
4. _Resolved_, That alien friends are under the jurisdiction and protection of the laws of the State wherein they are: that no power over them has been delegated to the United States, nor prohibited to the individual States, distinct from their power over citizens. And it being true as a general principle, and one of the amendments to the Constitution having also declared, that the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people, the act of the Congress of the United States, passed on the day of July, 1798, intituled An Act concerning aliens, which assumes powers over alien friends, not delegated by the Constitution, is not law, but is altogether void, and of no force [emphasis added]. Thomas Jefferson, Draft of the Kentucky Resolutions - October 1798.
So what Rep. Cantor needs to do concerning his misguided ideas about federal immigration is the following. He first needs to rally Congress to propose an immigration amendment to the Constitution to the states for ratification. And if the states should choose to ratify Cantor's amendment then Congress will have the specific power that it needs to regulate, tax and spend for immigration purposes and Cantor will be a hero.
