Secretary of State John Kerry says it's "a lot of baloney" to suggest the five Taliban prisoners released in exchange for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl will return to battle and kill Americans.

Still, he tells CNN, if they try they'll likely be killed themselves.

As usual, the horses ass doesn’t know what the heck he’s talking about.

This regime is stacked top to bottom with know-nothings.

This really is a giant problem - the POTUS is putting Americans at terrible risk for his own revenge - revenge at what I don’t know.

He was raised by old-school hardline Communist parents, his early mentor was a long-time CPUSA operative (Frank Marshall Davis), and his political mentors were Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn (members of the Weathermen, who advocated violent overthrow of the United States). The darkest day in any Leftists' lifes was when their hero-nation the USSR finally fell. Like Adolf Hitler getting payback for Versailles, Obama's getting payback for the Fall of European Communism.

Really?

John Effing Kerry, you were a District Attorney at one time.

What in your life experience and intuition ever led you to believe that serial murderers would ever stop if they were set free.

Waiting for your answer.....

I almost feel sorry for people like Kerry. It takes a lot of self-hatred to stunt your thinking to this degree.

Anyone else think that the day this comes back to bite us in the @$$ will be that one bad day the Joker always talked about?

With respect - these are not your garden weed type jihadis. They don’t go out, planting IEDs and waving AK’s in the air.

They are the ones that send others. They don’t need to be physically present to cause damage. Right now, the only thing stopping them from getting back into the battle is they are out of the loop as far as forces, cells and newer tactics are concerned, and they will be viewed with suspicion by the current leadership, in case one of them has been turned by the USA. The Talis and AQ didn’t get to be threats by being as trusting as Shirley Temple. They’ll be watched for a bit.

....and buried in pigs blood for all the world to see.

Because we said the “war” was over, they were POWs and we can’t hold ‘em indefinitely.
Personally, I think the military should convene a summary court martial, try them as unlawful combatants (100% chance of conviction) and shoot them. So what if they become “martyrs?”

If he actually had an original thought in his brain he’d recognize that communism does not work. Only a stupid person would think he’s always the smartest man in the room and refuse to listen to opposing views. Only a stupid person would not realize that available data points to a different conclusion than his preconceived notions.

I have to guess that taking us down the path he was carefully taught is his way to prove his relevance to himself. I remember Sarah saying at her incredible convention speech “the presidency of the United States is not a voyage of personal discovery”. She already knew what a disaster this pathetic, disturbed person is. Too bad her running mate didn’t know.

Yes. I understand they are former generals, not field grade soldiers. And I agree that they will have to prove that they have not been turned.

But these guys are heroes to their troops...and they are ready for some payback.

What a fool. Everyone knows that you cannot predict the future, you can only evaluate the level of risk. I’d say the level of risk is very high.

Obviously Kerry is not up to the task of evaluating results of a decision. No wonder he was chosen for Sec State.

Kllled? By Whom? We are bailing out of Afghanistan and we have sent a signal we are letting the worst or the worst in gitmo go free. Surely these liberals can make up better lies than this?

If after we had shot down Yamamoto he had been captured, Kerry would have argued that he wouldn’t be any trouble at all if returned to Japan.

If John Kerrey is so damned confident in his statement he should be sent to a post as Ambassador or something to see how it felt for the guys that were murdered in Libya.

I do beleive she got a lot of pushback and threats to make her pull her blog and basically go into seclusion
