What I don’t get is why they’re treated so much better than any other type of concern troll.

Dunno. Not my call to make. But it does not help conservatism letting them push their RINOs.

The resident and eloquent Level-Headed Cautious Pragmatist CEW thumps his chest: Take your self righteousness and stuff it.... It may have escaped your teeny brain, but ... I don’t disagree with you on principle at all. You’re just a Pollyanna.

And ...

I don’t create reality, but I do recognize it.

Really!

Here's reality. When you rely on liberals to pull things right, rightward movement will forever be elusive.

For the love of God, haven't you noticed?????

Here's reality. Whether Obama was impeached, convicted, or not (probably not), well over half ordinary Americans think Obama stinks. Not illegals, not screaming little boppers on TV, not shipped-in homeless votes and duplicate votes and union votes and dead votes and motor voter votes, but regular Joe Six Pack Americans. If they had their way and the Federal government got out of education (most people want that), there would be even fewer low-information voters. Government is the force powering a lot of problems. Solutions lie in cutting it back, pruning it, axing it. People know that.

There's just nowhere they can vote for it.

If impeachment was pursued Obama may not be impeached, let alone convicted, but the REALITY is that it would fire up a lot of Americans who are sick of Obama.

Nobody’s relying on liberals to do the right thing, and if you really seriously and honestly thought that is what I said, then your reading comprehension is embarrassing.

If you want to make a legit point, let me know. Keep your deliberate lies or your low level analyses to yourself please.

If it hadn’t already been done, let’s intrepret what this really means.......

“would rally President Obama’s Democratic base”

Impeachment would rally Obama’s base upon which deadly RIOTS would consume the nation........the republicans would be held responsible for the destruction and mayhem because of their racist hatred towards the president. (This is the reality of what the republicans are facing, so we are much better off allowing him to remain in office and make an ass out of himself and the Democrats)

Goodness me! Oh, my! Haven't we taken on airs!

Apparently, I don't know who I'm talking to! Gosh, excuse me for even presuming to point out to you that enabling leftist Republicans to call the shots IS most certainly "relying on liberals to do the right thing".

In the real world, more and more of us are waking up to the fact that leftists are leftists, regardless of party. Conservatives and Americans mostly apolitical but who are increasingly resentful of overregulation by government in every single aspect of their lives, have zero party, a people without a banner.

But you go on thinking that leaving Obama alone is "smart" strategy by a Republican party whose "brand" is that of a weenie hypocrite coward. Believe it or not, I truly do understand your urge for what you see as pragmatism. Some of us have moved on in our thinking, you haven't, and that's what makes the world go 'round. Why take it so personally, for crying out loud?

It would be nice if you outgrew your arrogance and bad temper. I like to think your mother would gently smack you backside of your head for shooting your mouth off with such "low level" insult-as-analyses as you so often exhibit on FR.

Good grief! Get over yourself!

Oh, my! Should I ask you for your autograph? Would you like a little genuflection?

You are arrogant and full of yourself. "Ill bred," I believe is how my great-grandmother would describe it.

when you accuse me of playing it safe, being timid, etc, in going against the GOP estabs, then you get what you deserve and in fact what you begged for.

Get over YOUR self.

What I don’t get is this ... “oh, we’re too scared to try and impeach him. we might fail. we won’t convict anyway. oh no....” what a bunch of losers

at this point it doesn’t matter. we’re screwed anyway. we have just a handful of rational people in the Congress. They should fight for what is right and if that means a failed impeachment attempt ... so friggin’ what!! what do we have now. nothing.

Show me how we have any chance to change anything if we can’t win elections.

That was what I was trying to convey. Thank you for your comments.

If the colonists had that same mindset, we would still be under a king or queen. Oh wait, we are.

Time for some 1700 patriots again.

Should I ask you for your autograph?

Only when you order the book. :)

Actually, somewhere inbetween autograph and accusing me of being timid in the face of the GOPe is probably the right response…….

Winning with a Rino gives more of what you have. If that is your definition of what America needs, then I don’t know what to tell you.

Winning has to be worth doing. Replacing a Democrat with a Republican that believes and votes like and with Democrats is no victory. If people spent a fraction of the effort working to elect conservatives that they use to invent excuses to keep electing closeted Democrats we would be ‘winning’ n the truest sense.

Hey. I like bold colors, but it’s simply not true to say pastel RINOs lose. Some do and some don’t, just like conservative candidates.

“A vote for a RINO is a vote for a Democrat.”

Seriously? You seriously believe RINOs are identical to Democrats—that it makes zero difference which one is in office? Every last RINO wants all guns seized, abortion on demand, gay marriage, immigration amnesty, increased taxes, burdensome regulations, etc? That’s what Democrats want, and Democrats vote in near lockstep for such things. Are RINOs really that bad?

This has been a rout.

Congratulations on your victory over that windmill.

If you will go back and read my posts to you, you will see I never said your statement was wrong. The reason I took it further, is because I thought the democrats would use that same premise as talking points.

I never said he would be impeached or removed. I was implying that it is better to act on constitutional grounds and lose than to allow the illegal takeover of our government by leftists.

If that is a teeny mind, then I confess to having one. But, I am not the only one.

I hope this clears your confusion, sir.
