I have yet to unearth any mention of any other American Serviceman being held hostage by jihadis. Many as we know have been killed by the talibam apparently none....held hostage
I can tell you that any man who even spent
even ten days in that platoon knows every damn man in that platoon. You know who
ever fell asleep on alert/guard duty, who makes too much noise on patrol plus who shoots when fired at and who hits the ground and/ or hides. You can bet your fanny his fellow ground pounder pals know this sad ass like a book.
The Tailban do not keep prisoners they torture then drop the body as a warning.

What if his dad, amount others put ideas in his head prior to his desertion. What if he thought what he was doing was right but he became disillusioned?
