The death of a Guatemalan immigrant from rabies last year at a Corpus Christi hospital set off a transnational search for others who may have been exposed.

Schlepping across the border in whatever way they do, in coyotes’ trucks or on foot, I’m surprised there aren’t more animal bite rabies cases. A rabies case might not develop for weeks after something like a small animal bite that itself seems to have healed up. The virus will travel along the nerve tissue (the only place it can live) and eventually get to the brain and then the tragic consequences follow. The vaccination and booster, if applied early enough, can head off the systemic infection.

Scabies and Rabies. Can it get any better?
I cannot remember the author's name or the book name but in the late 90's I recall the interview with a liberal advocating replacing Americans with foreign labor making North America a non-country, free enterprise, manufacturing zone. The foreigners would work here, remain citizens of their country but have a second home here.
Just doing the rabies exposure REAL Americans refuse to do.
These squatters are bringing in all kinds of diseases.
