More college men are fighting back against sexual misconduct cases
Los Angeles Times ^ | June 7, 2014 | By Teresa Watanabe

Peter Yu, Drew Sterrett and Lewis McLeod were headed toward bright futures at prestigious colleges and universities when each got involved in one-night sexual encounters..

All three young men claimed the encounters were consensual — but the women asserted otherwise. In each case, campus officials found the men responsible for sexual assault and expelled or suspended them.

I agree with your sentiment to a degree, but should the punishment not fit the crime?

If the desire is to punish people for sex outside marriage, then the women should ALSO be punished. Islam is starting to look more better with every passing year.

My take is that a rape only takes place when witnesses other than the “he said, she said” pair concur on the charges. These witnesses can include physical evidence or eyewitness evidence. But if the only evidence is that she has made the claim, there simply is no case. If he denies the charge and there is no physical evidence, no charges should ever be filed. Even if he’s just really good at raping women without causing any telltale marks or bruises. There is just not enough evidence.

And I believe that these man-hating and boy-hating vermin are the reason many males turn homosexual.

Silly breeder. Don't you know they are born that way? It is NOT a choice. Or so we have been told.

and revenge. And sometimes the issue that inspired the revenge cheating was/is very minor. But then, that's just part of the justification game some play.

Of the 4 woman I know well that turned into total hobags, not one of them has admitted they were in the wrong. All of them have an "excuse". The only remorse was for getting caught.

In the past I've heard these same women attack men for even just glancing at an another.

Hypocrisy thy name is woman.

Yeah, I'm a little angry and bitter right now and should stop. Just got another shocker about another neighbor yesterday. I'm disgusted and saddened. There have been too many Hos among my friends. And not one of these friends cheated on their wives (and I would probably know). Gen X is one messed up generation.

Your point well taken and understood. But is it the case with today's high school and college female? Because it seems quite the opposite, at least on the surface.

For example, the way girls dress and carry themselves in HS and college is not exactly modest, from what I've seen, cheerleaders don't actually cheer lead anymore, but rather engage in very suggestive dirty dancing on the field and court, many are sexually aggressive, and much of their language rivals that of an army boot camp.

Obviously it is not everyone. Maybe not by a long shot. But it seems pervasive. Is all that a front to hide their true quest for love and affection?

“Piss off a woman, and she can destroy you with false charges.” Which is why an increasing number of American males are taking their chances with women in other parts of the world.

The problem is that you must then NEVER BRING HER TO THE US.

Retire to some other country where your pension goes further, and where they do not have US divorce laws, and never facilitate her being able to enter the US.

That’s great advice to give your sons. Just stay away from certain types of people, and you are much less likely to get in trouble.

That’s good advice for other areas of life too. College students should stay away from those who don’t take their studies seriously, party too much, etc. They should stay away from those who are into extreme liberal political causes, and whose lives revolve around those causes. There are many other types of people to avoid as well, for your own well-being.

One thing I think should be considered is that if enough time has passed and all “physical evidence” of the encounter (if you get my drift) is gone, any charges should simply be denied as in, “we didn’t have sex. I don’t know what the heck you are talking about. You sound a little crazy to me.” i.e. fight fire with fire.

Better yet, have your lawyer say it, while you keep your mouth shut. All the cops have to do if YOU deny it is find any evidence you were there with her. If your lawyer says "where is your evidence that my client did any such?", it's different.

Never talk to police.

Agreed. And "physical evidence", as you implied, should be evidence of non consensual sex, not just evidence that sex occurred.

Your friend might not have had his life ruined if he didn’t get drunk and have sex with her and then shunned her the next day.

I’m not saying it’s fair but any guy who has intimate relations with a girl and then shuns her when he sobers up is a loser.

“I wonder if it occurred to any of these guys that “one-night sexual encounters” are not the way to go”

Gentleman code of conduct used to say not to take advantage of a woman who was intoxicated (I’m not blaming the men before you all attack me).

It’s hard to know the mental stability or history of a woman who is willing to go for a one night stand - or maybe not.

I personally know of more than a few women (my brother’s ex wife and 2 nieces) who cried rape when they were out drinking. None of them had any lasting psychological trauma to work out. It was just a convenient excuse to blame the alcohol and someone else for their slutty behavior.

Real rape victims are traumatized, not just regretful.

Several men I used to work with had “one-night sexual encounters”. They all came down with the clap and crabs.

“Young men need to be aware that sex is never casual for a women regardless of what she says.”

Maybe that's true for the majority but a good deal of women aren't too different from men when is comes to sex. I'd say something like 10-20% would constantly engage in casual sex if circumstances permitted. Something like 2-5% have no interest in a long-term relationship at all.

These women were always around but fear of stigma and poor birth control stopped them from expressing it for most of known history.

Today they are expressing it without limit and getting lots of male attention. Women who require work and commitment get overlooked.

Many young women who really equate sex with love try to act the same way for attention and often get drunk to do so. When it doesn't work, you sometimes get revenge cases like this.

It’s interesting how anti-feminist this is, despite being fully a phenomenon brought about by feminism, and it’s allies in liberalism/leftism and the sexual revolution.

It’s a bait and switch. They pushed the ideas of feminism, that women are just the same as men, and the sexual revolution, until the ethos became widespread and mainstream. That was the bait. Now they do the switch wherein a male can be caught in their trap for acting and believing like they taught him to act and believe.

My guess is, when this sort of persecution begins to affect campus life so that relationships between men and women go back to a more Godly, traditional form, they will stop it.

“Is this all a front to hide their true quest for love and affection?”

It is admittedly dangerous to over generalize behaviors however in many cases I would say yes. Little girls are being taught that that the way to find love is through flaunting their sexual attributes. I saw it when I was in college and I see it in my daughters’ classmates. Women by the nature of their biology are not the same as men ( despite what feminists may declare) Even promiscuous women who cheat with multiple men do so to punish their husbands or boyfriends. Emotion is always tied with sex for women, whether it is revenge, punishment, low self worth (related to early abuse.) Men and women are wired differently when it comes to sex, for women it is never just about fulfilling a biological need. It is naive for any man to think that any woman is only interested in the sexual act.

Regardless abstinence unless a partner in a committed legal and sacramental marriage would solve many if not most problems…for both sexes.

Rape, when the girl who initiated the sex regrets it in the morning.

But of course, girls don't ever do that. /s

The men should all claim that they were too drunk to give consent and were raped by the women.
