If you were running for a house seat and then Speaker specifically on the issue of impeachment then that would be ‘trying’.
I seen wishful repeated postings for other things that never were going to happen either:
1) Palin will run in 2012(2011)
2) A shutdown will convince Obama that Obama-care needs to be repealed.
Neither one of those had a chance of happening either and this one will go no-where too, no matter how much wishing.
Remember, he's all politics, all the time.

I think your confusion may be over the meaning of the term “impeachment”. Impeachment is the equivalent of indictment in the criminal justice system. It simply means that the HOR found that there is sufficient evidence that the President (or other Federal office holder) comitted “treason or other high crimes or misdemeanors” and may possibly merit removal from office. Too often, people mistakenly think impeachment is the same thing as removal from office, which would be equivalent to a conviction in a criminal case. The Senate has the sole power to conduct a trial and remove an impeached Federal officer from his/her office. In short, Clinton was indeed impeached, but there were insufficient votes in the Senate to remove him from office.
Impeachment would have to be a bi-partisan effort. We’d have to get Democrats on board with impeaching Ophonybama, otherwise, it is a no-go.
The purpose in raising the issue is to, hopefully, cause Democrats to come to understand that Ophonybama’s disrespect for the Rule of Law and the Constitution does serious harm to the country and to them - for that matter, it does serious harm to the entire planet.
I certainly hope as the chorus for impeachment grows louder and stronger that prominent Democrats will join in. I’m not holding my breath on that, but at some point, Democrats might, just might, come to understand that removing Ophonybama is the right thing to do.
I am not a skilled political tea leaf reader, nor am I a skilled political operative, but I have a highly (some would say “too highly!”) developed sense of right and wrong.
Legally and Constitutionally removing Ophonybama FRom the Presidency is the right thing to do, irrespective of the politics of the matter.
My challenge to you and to the other nattering nabobs of negativism is to challenge your FRiends, business associates, family and Representative and Senator to urge that Ophonybama be impeached.
It is for damn sure that impeachment will not happen if you take the attitude that it will not happen and do nothing to make it happen!

I believe those lives will turn out the same either way, since Obama isn’t going to be impeached, no matter how much you harp about it.

youre absolutely right. we need to call every one of those worthless cowards until they do what they swore an oath to God to do.

The House might be able to find votes for Impeaching Obama; they only need a majority.
But the Senate needs a two thirds vote to convict and most Senators would not convict Obama if he killed someone from the podium during the State of the Union address. Aside from the fact that the Democrats would not vote to convict under any circumstance, a lot of RINOs would find reasons not vote to convict.
Finally there is the danger of Civil Unrest on the part of the Free Stuff Army if the House even attempts to impeach Obama. Personally, I’d consider that an opportunity (the FSA NEEDS killing - and, what the heck, let all the JBTs get it out of their systems for while), but not a lot folks agree with me on that.
Contacted Representatives and Senators many times in the past years and guess what nothing is changing it’s a one party two names game.
