Death Penalty Month at anncoulter.com has already been interrupted by the psycho in Santa Barbara, and now its being interrupted by the Buddhist in Bagram.
Keeping to the spirit of Death Penalty Month, lets review the execution of Pvt. Eddie Slovik. Sloviks offense: desertion in wartime. (See the tie-in?)
Unlike Bowe Bergdahl, who deserted his unit, according to the accounts of his comrades, Slovik never actually deserted. He also didnt call America a disgusting country or say he was ashamed to be an American.
Slovik was just a chicken.

Bergdahl ping.
Slovic was just one of the smart asses, that made a name for himself in the unit he was in. He just made sure he was far enough behind the lines. Slovic didn’t walk into the Nazi lines, he just bugged out of his unit and hid in a safer one.(Per one of the unit commanders from the ole bucket of blood Division who was there at the time.)
**** He just made sure he was far enough behind the lines.***
What Bill Mauldin called a Garretrooper, too far forward to salute but too far back to get shot.
They’d better keep an eye on Bowe, because if he gets a chance I bet he
would head right back to his Tali-bros.
Yeh that’s prolly why they warned him not to come back to Azzaghanistan. They are afraid he will try to return.
