Another showdown for Lindsey Graham (Primary Today!!!)
cnn.com ^ | 6/10/14 | Paul Steinhauser

Posted on 06/10/2014 6:26:03 AM PDT by cotton1706

Five states from Maine to Nevada hold primaries on Tuesday, but the marquee race is in South Carolina, where two-term GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham is hoping to avoid a runoff.

The Palmetto State showdown comes as fellow Republican Sen. Thad Cochran is fighting for his political life in Mississippi. Last week, he was forced into a runoff against a challenger backed by the tea party.

But for Graham, any comparison with Cochran is short lived even though many tea party activists and other grassroots conservatives in South Carolina despise him and other local organizations in the state have censured him in recent years.

Graham's opponents are divided and getting little help from powerful anti-establishment outside groups.

With the most recent poll indicating Graham close to the 50% threshold needed to avoid a runoff, he spent the day before the primary on a bus tour through the conservative, voter-rich upstate region.

In his final campaign commercial before the primary, Graham touted his conservative credentials, which he said included support for "building the Keystone pipeline, opposing Obamacare, looking for answers on Benghazi, standing up for our military."

Graham: W.H. believes 'we're all dumb' And in the ad, which his campaign said was a six-figure statewide buy on TV, radio and digital, Graham said he is a "conservative leader you can count on to get things done."

We've done all we can. It's up to the citizens of South Carolina now (and the illegal aliens that Lindsey loves so much!)

Well, there’s a democrat primary too so that may help with that.

If he is forced into a runoff (hope), I hope that the supported of all the other Candidates will coalesce around ONE candidate - don’t care if it;s Bright or Nancy Mace, or… but my suggestion would be to coalesce around whichever other candidate had the most support at the time of the Primary. Otherwise they will be NO hope of unseating this RINO!

I asked my five SC relatives to go out and vote today for anyone who isn’t Lindsey Graham.

I just learned that Lindsey has actively solicited Democrat votes for today’s primary & will solicit them again in November if he wins today.

Just when we thought he couldn’t stoop any lower.

Geez.....oh, well, off to the polling place. This one’s for you, Lee Bright.

” - - - “conservative leader you can count on to get things done.” - - - “ is GOP-E Code for “CONTINUE TO RUBBER-STAMP WHATEVER OBAMA AND REID ASK US TO VOTE FOR.”

Good Luck dumping Lindsey. Please call 10 friends, get them all to vote plus they should each call at least 5 others, etc. Get the ball moving early. Let’s DO this.

We’re counting on you folks to dump him. Conservative, huh? Geeeeeeeesh. What a lie. He and McAmnesty are hooked at the hip. Shame on them and the GOPe.

Lee Bright stands some chance of beating Linda in a runoff. I’m not sure any of the other challengers would be able to.

I just learned that Lindsey has actively solicited Democrat votes for today’s primary & will solicit them again in November if he wins today.

This is true. Just like the gOpE strategy in Mississippi by the Barbour machine ...

Lindsey Graham’s Covert Op: Going Full Democrat

And here's the money soundbite from FReeper CEW, calling out Flimsey Tinkerbell for his audacious hypocrisy ....

Edmund Wright, Bright’s Communications Director, said, “This is quintessential political cross dressing. It’s quite a little paradox too, targeting Democrats with web ads while using his lobbying money to spread the fabricated rumor that he’s a conservative on television.

You like that little subtle double entendre do you?

(okay, maybe NOT so subtle)

All the candidates, except for Det Bowers, have pledged their support to the one that runs off against linda. They also promised, during the campaign that ends today, to not bicker among themselves but devote all their efforts towards ousting linda.

Thank you candidates. You’ve shown amazing maturity in this fight.

The media has long declared Graham the winner, no matter the reality on the ground. But if conservatives could at least force him into a runoff, it would unnerve the GOP-e, and force them to dump millions into his campaign.

And if through some miracle, somebody could beat him after the runoff, it would shake the GOP-e in their patent leather shoes.

"conservative leader you can count on to get things done."

A person like that DOES NOT vote w/ nobama 50% of the time, is NOT for amnesty, DOES NOT vote for a bailout the country can't afford, etc.

1. Linda is no conservative.

2. She's not a leader, either.

All the candidates, except for Det Bowers, have pledged their support to the one that runs off against linda.

So even Nancy Mace finally reasonably changed her mind on that?

Voted in Greenville. Lines were short but the people were coming in steadily. We just need to keep Graham from getting that 50% +1 vote.
