By now it's commonplace for politicians who lose a primary to be asked if they'll run as write-ins, so there was no need for him to "float" any such idea.
Cantor wouldn't have a leadership position if he ran as a write-in and he doesn't want to be a back-bencher, so really what would the point of a write-in campaign have been anyway?
My "agenda" is not falling for rumors and not leading with insults.
It’s going to take some effort and time but, the Bob Dole/Krap Rove faction needs to be defeated and called to heel.
I refuse to donate to RNC, GOP, GOP-e, RSCC, et al.
I occasionally take their calls for the express purpose of educating the caller and influencing them to consider the history of the GOP/RNC and their past is prologue.
I’ll send money directly to candidates and work for them but, so long as they continue the Bob Dole meme I ain’t ever going to send them money.

I think we’re well beyond it mattering as to which set of people lead the gop faction of the uniparty. We’re in a race against full collapse and frankly I think collapse is beating us to the finish line. It certainly doesn’t help when you have a dear leader who is taking every possible step to expedite collapse.
David Brat was a victory to relish. I don’t think that in the grand scheme it’s much more than a rearguard victory but it still makes me very happy.
Longer term, it’s time to choose your enclave and get right with your tribe.
