On other threads recently, the faux-conservative bone fides of Hugh Hewitt and Michael Medved have been sharply questioned in light of recent events. I'm wondering whether Mike Gallagher needs to be added to that list.
I can pick up three "Conservative Talk Radio" stations on my way to and from work, but I seldom listen to one of them because it features lightweights. My wife borrowed my truck yesterday, and must have been playing with the dials, because it was tuned to that third station when I got in this morning.
Some guy - I couldn't place him at first, but recognized his voice - was going on an incredibly livid rant about "fellow conservatives" who did not support Lindsey Graham, and who were unhappy that he won the primary. On and on and on he went about how conservative Graham was, and what a great man he was and such, and how much we needed him specifically in that Senate seat.
The gist of his argument seemed to be that these elections are all about whether our team - the Republicans - can win seats or not, and not whether a candidate who wins is a conservative, as long as they are somehow conservative "enough," which of course he thinks the esteemed Mr. Graham is. I listened to the end to find out who the host was: it was Mike Gallagher.
Well then what do they do with control? In the house? Not a damn thing but attack conservatives, stall investigations and work to assist and protect Obama/his agenda.
Shove the RINO crap ES. Winning with no honor is far worse when it aids Democrats. And the facts in evidence show that it does.
It’s funny that when a conservative gains traction here, Palin, you lead the charge to minimize her. When a Rino gets waxed, here you are working to push the lesser evil meme that caused our current situation to make up for it.

By all means let’s resort to personal attacks. I have no love of Graham or Cantor or any of them.

Of course I would prefer conservatives to moderates and liberals. I still don’t know why it would be better to have more liberal Democrats.

BTW, Mike Gallagher is a lightweight, like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham.

You were famous for your PDS and on this very thread you are making excuses as to why we just cannot possibly let a closet democrat lose. JR DID in fact brand you a troll some time back.

Medved was outed as left-leaning, or at least a good friend of the GOPe, when he was doing handsprings over McCain being the nominee for president in 2008. He seems like he’s a good debater, but as soon as he gets stuck he segues into a commercial break. Suddenly, he has all kinds of information at his fingertips on the topic at-hand. I can’t stand that crap.
Add in Michael Medved. He really likes Lindsay as well.

Spending months/years telling listeners RINO bad Rino causes all sorts of problems. Do not vote for RINO...
Then election happens...
You have to vote RINO because we never said the things we said for months years and all the bad things we told you about don’t matter if we had said them which we didn’t but if we did just forget it and trust us because we are staunch rock ribbed conservatives telling you to abandon all the thins we n that we told you to believe and elect the RINO because the world ends unless you do!
Now if you think that this isn’t fraud, then go enjoy more of it. And please do not tell me they havent done this because we all know they have.
You would not take that from a child, a boss or an acquaintance. Why take it from a voice on TV/radio?
I think there may be some confusion between Laura Ingraham and Dr. Laura Schlessinger.
