Ok all, Yesterday my wife(who works at the Omaha VA Hospital/RN) slipped and fell on a damp tile deck in a patient's room(they had shampooed the passageway(carpet) and it was still damp). Anyway she broke her L. Wrist and her 4th toe R. Foot and "Goose Egged" her head. Her Senior RN is still deciding what to do with her.
Prayers for Mrs. Vet. Be sure all incident reports are filed.
Release me from the anger I feel in this moment.
You O Lord know my heart.
You O Lord know my fears, for I have been made by thy wondrous hand.
Yet in this moment, I feel betrayed, I feel misunderstood, I feel hurt!
Grant unto me the voice of reason and the soundness of mind to let go.
I cant do it by myself, I need you, I need your guidance, I need your love.
Teach me to let go.
Teach me to reconcile my feelings and remove my selfish desire to inflict hurt and pain; for you have called me to a higher place.
I need your healing hand to move me forward, and forward will I go.
Release me from this stagnant posture, I pray, and empower me to look beyond the faults and misgivings of others.
Because of grace given, I will move forward; because you have forgiven, I will also forgive.
I will choose to let go of anxiety, of fear, of uncertainty and of hurt.
I choose to let go and seek your guidance this day. Rescue me, I pray. Amen.
Prayers for your wife to receive the healing that Jesus already provided on the Cross of Calvary. God wants her well. May her recovery be swift and steady.
Sorry to hear about Mrs USNV, and prayers for her prompt recovery. Is she full time/have benefits? If so, she should have some short-term disability, then I would think she would get worker’s comp after that. Did they cast her wrist? Did the doctor say how long she’ll need to be off work? Just be sure to document everything and keep copies of the records, phone call notes, etc.
That stinks! Prayers for quick recovery.
Prayers up, more coming.
Prayers sent from an old ETR2.
Lord bless Mrs US Navy Vet with a quick and complete recovery.
(PS: Did I read correctly that she is an RN? If so prayers up for you as well. RNs make the worst patients.)
Prayers on the way.
I’m so sorry to hear about your wife’s fall. It’s scary how quickly something like that can happen. Prayers for quick healing and minimal discomfort. Keep us apprised of her progress.
Prayers Up for your wonderful care giving RN wife
Prayers up for a speedy recovery!!!
Senior Nurse is deciding what to do..

Sending my prayers to your wife, US Navy Vet.
I will pray for her.
