Ukraine has accused Russia of allowing separatist rebels to bring three tanks and other military vehicles across the border into the east of the country to fight the Ukrainian army.

Obama is now more flexible.
We’re being attacked by kids on our southern border. The Middle East is exploding. Europe has been over run by muslims. I don’t think Putin is concerned about anything but a powerful Soviet Union.
Tanks don't have flash suppressors. The thing seen at the end of some tank barrels is a muzzle brake which reduces the recoil of the main gun. The other thing is a bore evacuator which prevents noxious gases from entering the crew compartment when they open the breech to reload the gun.

How the heck do you get a 40-ton tank off of a barge? You can’t just roll it off, and you would need a big-ass crane.
They must use some form of anti-gravity device. Only one thing is known for sure: no way, no how, no sir, those tanks could not have come from Russia. Putin told me so, and he is my God (along with Uncle Joe, Lenin and maybe Krupskaya).

Several days ago, 3 or four T-64’s were abandoned outside of Lugansk by their Kiev crews during a firefight. Could these be those?
I would think that they would have been kept local, although there have been pics and tweets in the last several days showing recruiting for the “Donetsk Armored Corps” and “Air Force”.

You’re right. Rail cars weigh up to 90 tons, which is much more than 40 tons.
