We’re being attacked by kids on our southern border. The Middle East is exploding. Europe has been over run by muslims. I don’t think Putin is concerned about anything but a powerful Soviet Union.
Tanks don't have flash suppressors. The thing seen at the end of some tank barrels is a muzzle brake which reduces the recoil of the main gun. The other thing is a bore evacuator which prevents noxious gases from entering the crew compartment when they open the breech to reload the gun.
How the heck do you get a 40-ton tank off of a barge? You can’t just roll it off, and you would need a big-ass crane.
They must use some form of anti-gravity device. Only one thing is known for sure: no way, no how, no sir, those tanks could not have come from Russia. Putin told me so, and he is my God (along with Uncle Joe, Lenin and maybe Krupskaya).
Russian thugs aren’t the only people in the tank for Putin.
See? It gets dumber the more you dwell on it. I think he made it up on the fly.
Several days ago, 3 or four T-64’s were abandoned outside of Lugansk by their Kiev crews during a firefight. Could these be those?
I would think that they would have been kept local, although there have been pics and tweets in the last several days showing recruiting for the “Donetsk Armored Corps” and “Air Force”.
Don’t see anything weighing 40 tons, there.
“Dont see anything weighing 40 tons, there.”
You’re right. Rail cars weigh up to 90 tons, which is much more than 40 tons.
I am sure a strongly worded letter from the Big Zero is on the way.
Don’t see any rails there, either. In any case, we are talking about tanks. Please stay focused.
I think tomorrow is the big solar flare day, so don’t worry none of this will matter then. I have a 10 year supply of matches will trade for, I dunno, what ya got?
It’s hard to tell Russian tanks apart after the turret inevitably pops off.
Bottom picture. Railcar barge. Don’t be daft.
“Its hard to tell Russian tanks apart after the turret inevitably pops off.”
Along these same lines, the rebels raided the Topaz electronics works in Donetsk on Tuesday, and made off with a complete Mandat Electronic Warfare Jamming and surveillance mobile unit, as well as an AA-equipped APC.
Don’t tell me Patton has come back again.
We are talking about tanks, genius.
Tango Seven Two
Along with a couple of support vehicles. Putin laughs at this Breaking News.
Heavy combat, right now, in Mariupol.
National Guard moved into town at dawn, and there has been fighting, including artillery, since. Several live feeds are going, but they are all going up and down.

Per Twitter, the attacking forces appear to be Oleg Lyashko’s Private Right Sector Militia, called Battalion “Azov”
He forgot to add a hashtag.
With this news and the news in Iraq it must be time for 36 holes!
It doesn’t really matter, they’re all crap. They lack and good fire control, no gyros. Like most things they made, they look all fancy but are highly inferior to west’s gear.
If this is true and they’re sending armor in, when is the media going to let us know? Maybe they’re still trying to figure out the best way to spin this.
Perhaps this solves the mystery?
Three T-64 tanks were captured on 6 June from the army in the Lugansk region.
The rebels also seem to have gotten at least two Yak-50’s flying, as well.
It is an aerobatics trainer. As the Israeli’s showed us long ago, it isn’t hard to turn those types of aircraft into ground support planes.
More about the three tanks from this article.
Add NY state...
Looks like MANPADs (or SAMs) are being deployed/used now. This link shows a video of a large Ukrainian aircraft being destroyed.
Nice work Obama & crew!
~They look like T-62s to me, but dont T-64s look almost the same?~
In fact T-62 has nothing in common with T-64.
T-62 is actually an upgunned T-55 and T-64 is a radical innovative tank for it’s time.
It was a top gun in the 1960s, a kind of like Abrams since 1980s.
It had a composite armor, precise advanced fire control with laser rangefinder and stabilized cannon, autoloader, remote-controlled machine-gun, multifuel engine - all back to 50 years ago!
More recent T-72 was a step backward. It was like Chevy Nova to Corvette comparing to T-64 but also T-72 cost was under 300,000 rubles and T-64 over 1 million at the time. A couple of T-64 engines alone would cost as much as fully-equipped T-72.
Also T-64 was designed and built in Harkiv, Ukraine. For that reason, Russia has seized operation and scrapped it’s T-64s soon after Soviet collapse while Ukraine still builds that things and has it as their primary MBTs.
Obama will not touch Putin, as long as Putin does not attack or bomb any Sunni Muslims in the Ukraine and its vicinity.
