Thad Cochran: 'I Don't Remember Ever Saying' I Did 'Indecent Things With Animals' As A Child
Breitbart ^ | 13 Jun 2014 | by MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 06/13/2014 2:31:57 PM PDT by kingattax

When asked by a local television reporter to respond to his bizarre comments about unsavory acts he said he committed with animals as a child, Cochran said he doesn’t remember.

“I think maybe I was misunderstood,” Cochran said. “I don’t remember ever saying [that].”

He’s being lautenberged by the GOP. His family should step in and take him home.

I need some Mississippi folks to tell us if this is making big news in Mississippi?

Your post is so right. He did not want to run, but Boss Hogg is exploiting
him. Shame on Haley Barbour! Boss Hogg should be charged with Senior
Citizen abuse.

Cochran is a plethora of amusing rantings. Hopefully the people of Mississippi will retire him to the nursing home with his wife.

He apparently has problems, those who have kept him from retiring and kept him isolated and in this race should urge him to retire effective immediately and in the spirit of “unity” of all Mississippi Republicans Governor Bryant should appoint Senator McDaniel to serve the balance of Thad’s term.

It’s on tape. I read the transcript, & the comments sounded dead serious. Others watched the tape, & concluded Cochran might have been trying to make a weird/bizarre joke.

It’s at the 1.08 mark:

This last minute melt down has happened before, and for much higher stakes!! Remember when Herman Cain stunned every Tea Partyer by his sweeping ignorance on world affairs and geography? Sometimes, you have to see what is before you and be thankful you dodged that bullet in spite of yourself. When Cain let me down like that, all of a sudden that ‘lady’ Ginger White sounded belivable.

I catch hell for harping on the GOP but I mean come on. this is what they have become? Yes it is. They saw the Dems wheel Byrd out drooling and decided that rather than have a non-puppet in the seat, they would use an old man with issues to keep getting their way. And they can see what his state is. They knew before we did. the process of Alzheimers is well known. Alz people do not do well in crowds or places of confusion/activity. It upsets them more and more as time passes. They were going to literally use him to death rather than have a conservative on the team.

That is as evil as it gets, especially when the Right are supposed to be the ones with the moral high ground.

Shameful. He needs to retire today.

If a few months after the election and retires who would
Gov. Byrant most likely appoint? Guesses anyone?

Cochran is 76, Reagan was 78 when he left office. Whatever.

Why would having sex with animals be “big news” in Mississippi? Happens all the time.

As I’ve said, this is senior abuse. Bigtime. He said he wanted to retire. Obviously his gravy train has too many hangers on who’d have to get real jobs if that happened.

Thad Cochran beats Chucky Schummer or Dick Durbin or Barbara Boxer by a mile. However his time is up. He is the proverbial old white guy from GOP establishment. We need new blood in senate to augment Cruz, Lee & Paul.

Reagan was a good President but he suffered Alzheimer’s soon after retirement. Had he been healthy I doubt that he would keep running for political offices into his 80’s or even 90’s as some politicians these days try to do. Whatever happened to retiring with dignity? When the Constitution was written, 50 years old was considered an old man. He has been a Senator since 1978! Needs to be replaced with a young conservative.
