(CNN) -- ISIS, the brutal insurgent/terrorist group formerly known as al Qaeda in Iraq, has seized much of western and northern Iraq and even threatens towns not far from Baghdad.
From where did ISIS spring? One of George W. Bush's most toxic legacies is the introduction of al Qaeda into Iraq, which is the ISIS mother ship.
If this wasn't so tragic it would be supremely ironic, because before the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, top Bush officials were insisting that there was an al Qaeda-Iraq axis of evil. Their claims that Saddam Hussein's men were training members of al Qaeda how to make weapons of mass destruction seemed to be one of the most compelling rationales for the impending war.

Damn that George Bush!, weather machine, earthquake machine, global warming machine and now we find out that he has still been giving the military orders and conducting foreign policy even though he has been out of office for over five years! Bush makes S.P.E.C.T.R.E look like a charity group.

I seem to remember, when we withdrew, assuring Iraq that we’d be right next door if they needed us.
Obama withdrew support for the Iraqis and now they have an army of jihadists coming right at them. And if they need military support they will probably have to get it from Iran.
My view is that the burden of proof is on Obama, State, and the Turks to demonstrate that they are not the authors of the ISIS invasion.
Just explain this to a lib and watch their heads explode.
As for Saddam, one important item that didn’t circle long before disappearing down the memory hole:
Zawahiri and his gang (Egyptian Islamic Jihad) were on Saddam’s payroll when they recruited Bin Ladin, and formed his inner circle.
So Saddam’s link to Bin Ladin has always hidden right out in plain sight. Its just that our journolists and politicians have always been too polite to mention it.
CNN...someone other than people stranded at the airport watch this anti-American screed?
