WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House is considering sending a small number of American special forces soldiers to Iraq in an urgent attempt to help the government in Baghdad slow the nation's rampant Sunni insurgency, U.S. officials said Monday.
While President Barack Obama has explicitly ruled out putting U.S. troops into direct combat in Iraq, the plan under consideration suggests he would be willing to send Americans into a collapsing security situation for training and other purposes

Has not Obama heard? They are ALL on strike!Ever since Obama leaked intel to the Tangos which resulted in a chopper load of Navy Seals to be shot down.
Hoping the military is going to do what they have to in order to protect their own, finding a way to say they were acting within authority given by zero. He is clueless about what it will take, the conflicting numbers probably are based on the actual number he intends to go in (275 - can’t have that 300 number) and others being placed by military commanders close enough to act when needed. Don’t want zero having any excuse to argue reinforcements were “too far away” again.
Please pray for any that do go in.
Special Ops typically train six to nine months for a +/- 60 day mission. They are not reactionary, they plan and prepare.
Delta goes IN when requested/ordered, but typically has good intel and previous knowledge.
Then there is the other group of special ops that goes in and out quickly like it never happened...too small of a force for this.
I cannot imagine any of the special forces mentioned above are prepared for this ISIS bunch at the drop of a hat, or turban as it may be.
Hope this does not get ugly for our good men in the military.
