Rep. Bruce Braley (D-IA) holds a 4-point lead over state Sen. Joni Ernst (R) in the race for U.S. Senate in Iowa, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.
The poll found Braley leading Ernst 44 percent to 40 percent among registered voters. That's tighter than a previous Quinnipiac poll published on March 13 which found Braley leading Ernst 42 percent to 29 percent.
The new Quinnipiac poll also found Braley with a wide 11-point lead over Ernst among women voters. Forty-seven percent of women said they backed Braley while 36 percent said they backed Ernst. Meanwhile 44 percent of men surveyed said they backed Ernst while 40 percent said they backed Braley.
Quinnipiac cautioned though that despite that lead among women for Braley, a plurality of women said that Ernst would be better on "issues important to women" than Braley, 49 percent to 30 percent.
The poll was conducted from June 12 to June 16 among 1,277 registered voters. The margin of error was plus or minus 2.7 percentage points.
The Quinnipiac Poll's findings are in line with the TPM Polltracker average.

Why does anything that her husband did have anything to do with Joni Ernst?
Just a couple of weeks ago, a Monica Lewinski bimbo eruption caused the left to just about wet themselves telling everyone that Hillary was in no way responsible for what her spouse-the bent one-did or didn't do.

Ernst will win this. Iowa was supposed to stay Democrat. Obama and Company will do more to damage the Democrat brand than any conservative ever has.
