Florida has executed a man who fatally stabbed his wife and her young son in 1985.
It is the third U.S. execution in less than 24 hours since a botched April lethal injection in Oklahoma.
The governors office says John Ruthell Henry was pronounced dead at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday.

We’re on a roll, now! Keep it up.
The Ass. Press is up in arms, because of the loss of potential Democrat voters!
I thought only the good guys died in threes and Sonny Bono died in trees.
1985? Are they sure he didn’t die of old age?
So he lived 29 years longer than his wife and her son.
It's been less than 24 hours since April?
Texas is jealous LOL!

our country just got a little better. justice dealing with scum.
Killed his common law wife in 1976...
Killed his second wife in 1985 two years after getting out of prison for the first murder...
Then he killed her 5 year old son...
This guy lived about 28 years too long...
It took over 20 years for each one of these murderers.
do the ones in South Dakota next
Not to worry, he can still vote.
And yet the law demands the death of a child in less than seven months.
There are 4-5000 people on death row. Start now and clean all of them off death row. It would be a sign that America does not tolerate rotten murderers et al.
The leading cause of death in the US is abortion.
“And yet the law demands the death of a child in less than seven months.”
YEP! And the child is an innocent.
GOD IS AWARE OF WHAT THIS COUNTRY IS DOING UNDER THE DEMS. Pray that the punishment will be for the Dems. only, because it will be harsh.
They’re dead, they didn’t lose any. Simply reregistered a different address.
a good start
but what about the rest ???
Once again, a lot of death penalties could be expedited by legalizing the firing squad. Likewise, it could be put in as an option, so if the *means* of execution is challenged in court, the state could opt to use the firing squad.
This means lethal injection, electrocution, the gas chamber, all could be used because if challenged, the state could just shrug and say shoot them.
Whole lot of gub mint higher ups deserve the death penalty.
Were I on a grand jury I’d vote to indict a whole passel of these criminals.
Public hangings and allow it on T.V. and let em hang for a few weeks to send a message to future gub mint criminal types.
Hear me Hillary? Hear me obammy?
Works for me, because they anesthetize the operation! Har, Har!
The Gal is Definitely “Not Guilty”!
