Associated Press ^ | Jun 22, 2014 8:26 AM EDT | Vanessa Gera

A Polish magazine said Sunday it has obtained recordings of a conversation in which Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski says the country’s strong alliance with the U.S. “isn’t worth anything” and is “even harmful because it creates a false sense of security.”

In a short transcript of the conversation, a person identified as Sikorski by the magazine Wprost tells former finance minister, Jacek Rostowski, that Poles naïvely believe the U.S. bolsters their security. Using vulgar language, the person argues that such beliefs are nonsense, and that the Polish-U.S. alliance alienates the Russians and Germans.

There has been no official confirmation that it is Sikorski who speaks in the conversation. …

The United States under Bronco Bama will NOT come to the aid of any country, unless it is on the side of besieged Muslims in that country.

Yes, well, with Barack Hussein Obama occupying the Oval Office, I agree.

He is singularly and spectacularly UNTRUSTWORTHY.

Under Obama’s rule, you are absolutely right.

Any rational country contemplating their dependence on US military protection better come to the same conclusion - for any 'Rat administration. Such countries are, at best, on their own or, like Israel, positively hamstrung by the marxist, racist Democrats

Oh Poor Poland, if there was any country who ties I wish I had in my Blood line it's that one (I am sure there is though, I just can't find it. since Prussia, Russia and Austria Partioned the country, that is why Germany had so many Jews)

This isn't the first time the U.S. has betryaed the Poles to the KGB.

The United States Practically GAVE them everything WEST OF THE VISTULA RIVER~!!!!

And FDR seemed just fine with it.

“the country’s strong alliance with the U.S. “isn’t worth anything” and is “even harmful because it creates a false sense of security.””

Unfortunately he is right.

Under the Obama Administration the U.S. betrays and hurts its friends and rewards its enemies.

In fact US was unreliable international partner before Obama. Opponent’s foreign ties are among the first targets in any election campaign.

In hindsight, and given the fact that the majority of voting public actually voted this POS in again, its accurate.

Given the question of (very) possible election fraud, I would guess that “the majority” were disenfranchised, which suits the left just fine. After all, it’s not those who vote that count, but those who count the votes.

Really !... I'd like to see an example..

I am under the impression we keep our word on the majority of our international agreements at least in the past 40 years..

I know we were not perfect by any stretch but can you cite an example as egregious as Obama's current untrustworthiness...

Our WH dictator is a Sunni Muslim plant financed with illegal funds from Foreign interests ( Saudis) .
When Barry bowed and kissed the Ring finger of the Saudi King in public that was an clear message to Arab would they controlled the WH. Plus
combined that with a white hating wife who is good friends with Louis Farrakahan and Rev Wright!
All black muslim radical leftist.
Our Obama media has been trying to cover this up for 6 years but Europeans are openly outing this trojan horse in
the WH..The Egyptians have openly outed him too.

Sunni terrorists marching on Bagdad has been Barry’s and Comrade Michelle’ plan all along.

So then not wanting Russian as a second state language is evidence of ethnic cleansing??

Unbelievable RT nonsense.

BTW Poroshenko is for protecting the use of the Russian language.

Obama is only pretending to act regarding Russian invasion because even his Democrats demand that he acts tougher. I am sure he would ignore it if there would not be pressure from American people.

Located between Russia and Germany, the Poles can’t afford to depend on anyone else, especially Obama, to insure their security. Fortunately, their economy is strong, relative to the rest of the West, so they finally have the means to provide a strong defensive capability for themselves.

look with the left/ libertarian foreign policy majority in place in the US...The US can not be counted on.

And because the US was head of the “West”...the West can not be counted on...

The “West” is gone.

The world belongs to the East (Russia China) and South..(Islam)..

This has been what the “fifth column” left in the West has worked for since day one..

And libertarian isolationism in the US have been their enablers

our new world model will be statist authoritarian / Islamic theocracies

the old classical liberal Western democracy's have no will and no leader...its dying out.....

. the progressive left -IS- by nature, statist authoritarian government...and the Libertarians isolationist have been their useful idiots

(Libertarian Party has become the progressive left useful idiots on almost everything these days)

The libertarian isolationists don't see that with no one left to stand up for it “libertarianism” (classical western liberal government) is a dead footnote in history now.

I think the previous sequence of events was this:

* Russia threatens Poland that if they allow USA missile defence base they will hurt them economically
* Poland allowed the base
* Russia hurt them economically
* Obama came to power and cancelled the base anyway

The Poles asked for a permanent military base after Russia invaded Ukraine. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, There are Multi national NATO units there. Units made of Poles, Germans and Danes with some American representation. Poles vs Russians is like Sunni vs Shiites. Both of them look down their noses at the other.
