Low-info voters are merely those with short attention spans.

Rand Paul’s position on US foreign policy is right in there, but nice try. He’s a demagogue and a Democrat in all but name, and supports jihadists, but (like his ally Obama) only those supported by our enemy Iran.

I don’t think it’s possible to say that Rand Paul supports jihadists when he’s here opposed to arming jihadists. He’s an isolationist. He doesn’t support arming anyone.

It is true that Obama has been sending arms to Syrian rebels in an effort to overthrow Assad. That’s a matter of just reading news reports and has nothing to do with Rand Paul.

Low-info voters are merely those with short attention spans.

The frame rate of change in scenery characteristic of television and the limbic stimulation produced by its content are physically addictive in nature. "Fear! Flight! Fight! Food! Sex!!!" over and over in rapid fire stimulate the production of neurotransmitters that form the basis of that addiction. Television and video games produce a child permanently and physiologically altered, incapable of processing information that doesn't stimulate, slow things that require thought.

At least, that's my theory. I refused to even allow my daughters to watch the screen no matter how good was the content. About the only production I saw that had it right was Mr. Rogers, and he kept it REALLY slow and for good reason. Everything to a child is new. They are processing huge amounts of information of which we are not aware. One has to slow it down so that they have time to process and file it in an orderly fashion; else what one produces is a chaotic mind.

Of course it does — that’s the very title of the topic. Paul is lying about this, just as he lies about lots of other things.

Obviously, if Zero had been arming the rebels in Syria, Assad would have been toast long ago. But Zero hasn’t been doing that. Instead, in the absence of any serious US assistance, the only game in town has been the usual muzzie sources.

There’s been a lot of humanitarian aid going to the Syrian refugees in Jordan and Turkey, and in Jordan some feeble attempts to recruit and train an opposition force.

All the manpads that supposedly flowed out of Libya into Syria? They’ve been mighty quiet as well. Why, it’s almost as if none of them have arrived yet.

> The arms shipments, which are limited to light weapons and other munitions that can be tracked...

IOW, no anti-tank, no anti-aircraft, not much of anything apparently, because it definitely didn’t turn the tide back in 2013. And Rand Paul lied — ISIS got weapons from muzzie sources, and as Maliki’s armed forces threw down their weapons and blew town, the new jihadists picked them up, in Iraq.

The Muslim Brotherhood (Sunni) were armed by Obama to fight Assad and it was news in USA, and now some are with ISIS....

I wonder where those weapons and 400 surface to air missiles from Benghazi ended up? There is a lot of explaining to do by this Administration about Christopher Stevens.... and was he running weapons? And for who? If we drop the ball on this we will regret it as a nation.

One of the links had a pic of a fighter with a TOW missile

Wow, that one picture of a TOW missile must explain the massive success the rebels have had knocking out Assad’s tanks.

You’re suggesting they sent one TOW missile???

I’m suggesting that they obtained one TOW missile from somewhere else and show it off to the media, such as Frontline:

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/syria-arming-the-rebels/

And Rand Paul lied.

I don’t intend to support Rand Paul at all....he’s a liberal-tarian.

But, I don’t think he’s wrong on this one. Broken clock syndrome.

It would be LIKE Obama to feed weapons to jihadists AND years of info says they got weapons in Egypt, Libya, Syria. King of Saud wanted Assad out, and Obama bowed to King of Saud. Obama’s sect in Indonesia would have been Sunni, and Saud is Sunni. The Syrian rebels are Sunni.

So, too much for me to even begin to consider that the Syrian rebels got no weapons from the US.
