A Montana judge has struck down most of a voter-approved law requiring government officials to conduct immigration checks on anybody seeking services from unemployment benefits to crime-victim assistance.
The law aims to deny services to people who are in the U.S. illegally. District Judge Jeffrey Sherlock says in his Friday order the law makes up its own definition of "illegal alien" and conflicts with federal immigration laws.

Two questions:
1. Why is someone named Shahid Haque-Hausrath admitted to the bar and practicing law in the United States?
2. Given that an immigration attorney named Shahid Haque-Hausrath was involved, do you suppose this despicable creature, the so-called judge, was told to rule that way or be killed?
One could argue there are no federal immigration laws anymore, therefore the Montana law is compliant.
