Washington (CNN) - Expanding his IRS investigation by more than two decades, House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa, R-California, has sent a subpoena to the Federal Elections Commission for all communications involving former IRS administrator Lois Lerner from January 1, 1986 to the present day.

This new search is the broadest-yet for records in a year-long investigation by Issa and congressional Republicans, who are trying to assess why the agency targeted tea party and other political groups for extra scrutiny.

Then they appeal to Fedaral Court in a flash, where the AG’s office declines to prosecute.

I recalll similar issues when the Dems were screaming for Karl Rove to be arrested by Congress for ignoring a subpeona.

Doesn’t matter if someone gets arrested, Obama will pardon them.

Last I checked. But I don’t expect any blessings or saving us from ourselves while the majority seem determined to openly defy him.

OK, then do what they did to the AIG execs: Tax the income of anybody in the Lerner and Holder households at 100% for the rest of their lives.

Use Lerner’s taxes to buy a printer where all IRS emails are automatically printed out as they are sent and received, and use the IRS employees’ drastically reduced salaries to buy the paper for it. Call that machine the “Lois Lerner Memorial FU”.

If it was a valid subpoena Karl Rove SHOULD HAVE been arrested for contempt of Congress if he refused to produce the records.

Finally,he is fed up and letting his nut sac hang low. I don’t blame him. It would normally sound excessive, but not in this case.

I honestly don’t know why He hasn’t blown this country apart by now. He would have been justified in doing it long ago.

Rove just invoked executive privilege, something Lois Lerner can’t claim.

When any number of citizens have come forward asking the questions the GOP cowers from I think the answer of why there are unarrested Democrats is painfully obvious.

It's one thing to go after little people, another to go after those in positions to get angry and do something about it.
Was Mr. Grassley the only one she went after...

I don't understand why some regular people cease to be decent human beings.
