Kids like soccer because everyone gets a chance to kick the ball, and it takes very little talent to do so.

So it’s communists waving Gadsden flags at the games, and chanting U-S-A? Who knew?

The use of the stretcher in soccer so comical...even more funny it is done with a straight face.
The reason they riot at soccer games is because there is nothing more interesting.

Thing I like about ruggers is that they don’t care if there’s an audience or not. They come to play.

Sad that Coulter’s only function now is to draw out ignorant buffoons.

“...and this year's Super Bowl had 111.5 million viewers.”
A lot of viewers. I wonder how many non-Seahawks fans kept watching after the first quarter? Of course as a Seahawks fan I loved watching those pansy-assed, latte licking Lenin loving Seahawks destroy the Broncos.
Soccer is not on my top three sports to watch. But I enjoy it, and I don't see much point in bashing what others like to enjoy. And if not enough people like it - it will go bankrupt and so be it.

(6) I resent the force-fed aspect of soccer. The same people trying to push soccer on Americans are the ones demanding that we love HBO's "Girls," light-rail, Beyonce and Hillary Clinton. The number of New York Times articles claiming soccer is "catching on" is exceeded only by the ones pretending women's basketball is fascinating.
No cheet!
BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA....This is too flippen funny...

Interesting article...
I do like the “US against the World” aspect of the World Cup. Heck, I like the US against the World in everything...but of course that is not politically correct anymore, it seems

Yep. Part of the reason why I don’t take the “blogosphere” as seriously as I used to is that it seems like EVERYONE is a RINO. The RINO this, RINO that talk is getting silly—some people deserve it for sure, but for people who I agree with 80% or 90%, I’m not going to call them a RINO over the 10% difference that we have.
