This is an effort to lull us to sleep.
The danger is the lame duck session. Boehner could easily forego the Hastert rule, line up 16 rinos and vote with democrats to send a comprehensive bill to the senate.
There is nothing I know of that can stop that other than some kind of procedural delay temporarily.

Um, no, WaPo, their status is actually quite easy to figure out. They broke the law to come here. Therefore, their status is “ILLEGAL” and must return to wherever they came from. But here’s a novel concept... They can always get in line and go through the lawful process we have currently in place to immigrate here legally!
