As the Army continues to investigate whether Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is guilty of deserting his unit, this afternoon they said there is no reason to believe that Bergdahl engaged in any misconduct during his five years in captivity.

Nevermind his captors bragged about him helping with IEDs. How about his wrongdoing in deserting or will they sweep that under the rug as well? Can’t have anything tarnish The Won’s crown.
And the Taliban wouldn’t lie, would they? As for his deserting, yeah, he deserted. But the Army’s statement is only talking about his CAPTIVITY. His desertion is another topic. Good grief.

Yep...If he walks on this desertion after what the soldiers that were there have stated our military has become a complete farce.
After he deserted, his unit was hit again and again with pin point accuracy.
So the improved effectiveness of the enemy’s IED placement shortly after his desertion is purely coincidental?

They are going to deal with the desertion separately. I believe that he will be discharged with a dishonorable discharge due to desertion. They are also thinking about taking back the 200K that he was paid during his years of captivity. I say great to both.
What makes he sick and I can’t for the life of me understand why this is not being discussed even on conservative Free Republic is the fact that they gave away 5 highly rank terrorists for Bergdahl who was at death’s door.......excuse me but he MIRACULOUSLY improved his health in about 2 days.....maybe and possibly shorter than that. I think out of all the stink to this story is that we were lied to with that flimsy excuse and everyone is falling for it.
