A Georgia man has been charged in the death of his 22-month-old son after he left the boy in a hot car for seven hours. Justin Ross Harris told police that he forgot to drop his son off at daycare before going to work.
However, investigators say they have evidence that indicates Harris is lying. Sources tell FOX 5 Atlanta that someone used his work computer to search how long it would take for an animal to die in a car.

What is it with their culture that would allow them murder his own child?
We see this time and time again during the summer months, a busy mom or dad who murders their own baby leaving it in a hot car.
This was not forgetfulness. It was premeditation disguised as forgetfulness.
Kids dying in hot cars was not at epidemic proportions before air bags forced babies to the rear seat where a parent can easily forget a sleeping baby when they exit the car.

for years and years,how many times have we heard the excuse,”Oh,Darn,I Forgot I Had A Toddler In The Back Seat”??
I read a very sad tale, maybe linked to from here maybe not, about a woman who left her child in the car and the baby died. I think, maybe, in that case it was truly an accident.
OK, people say how can that happen, but I think we all know we can all make really big mistakes, pretty much at any time,and of course at the worst time, and we just thank God when we do not.
So, I don’t know.
There is certainly some big suspicion on this man now, is he guilty of a heinous crime, is he about to be railroaded? I am glad I am not the one to judge.
Or maybe not.
If he wants to divorce, he can do so but would still be saddled with child support. This way he could divorce without it.

KIds have to be in back seats so they won’t be killed by the air bags -which of course were supposed to save lives.

This man worked at HomeDepot they say they found on his WORK computer information on how long it would take for a dog to die in a hot car. I believe that he saw a dog in a car in the parking lot at Home Depot
and was concerned about the time the dog had been in the car. I think
this man is going to be railroaded!!!! It is a horrible situation but if he wasn’t used to dropping the child off at daycare it COULD happen unfortunately!!!!!!
If what has came out so far is true it is about as evil as evil gets. If the website look up account is true he has to be dumb as a rock stupid to think everything would not be checked out.
That said unintentional acts can happen not by malice but by a miscue in a persons brain during their train of thought doing a task telling them they completed a task that they didn't. A simple interruption can trigger it. It's how houses burn down from things like stove left on a person can swear under oath they didn't do it deliberately and pass a polygraph. The brain thinks the person did the task. The person believes what the brain has said. Usually it's minor non important task this happens with. But it can happen with any task.
Were seeing more and more distractions in today's faster paced world. Car designs as someone mentioned doesn't help matters nor does the Nanny State Laws of kids being placed in the back seat. Kids belong in a vehicle where parent driver can see them. Put in a turn off airbag option. But the law is not satisfied. The newer vehicles places drivers in a body facing forward locked in place position with limited neck movement as well many times due to built in non removable head rest. A kid can choke and a parent not see it happening. I hate cars of today so much I refuse to own one. I'll drive an older pick up or an older van. I want clear field of vision. When cars are built to where to even look straight behind you it takes a camera that is a major design flaw.
More often than we hear "Oh, Darn, I forgot I left the baby and car seat on the car roof!". Why either situation happens is beyond my comprehension.
So? Why was he doing research instead of:
paging the customer,
contacting his manager,
calling the police or
(if the dog was in distress) breaking out the window?
If it was just curiosity, he should have satisfied it after he got home.
It makes him look quite suspicious.

I wish I could remember better about the article I read, but I won’t be able to.
People do mess up like this. Like I said, I only thank God i never did. I always remember how my heart would fill with anxiety at the last couple of weeks of school (right about now in the calender) because the schedule would be all crazy.
I never did cause the death of my child but I know from my own knowledge that good people have most mistakenly done this.
If I ever did, please put me jail, because if you leave me free I will be UNDER the bed with a bottle of whiskey and NO I won’t come out.
I’d like to know how long it takes for a grown man to die when he’s locked in a hot car...
