An angry-sounding man shot at another man and then emptied his gun into the crowd on Bourbon Street early Sunday morning, according to an eyewitness.

Probably a gun show in N’awlins this weekend. Or maybe in Metarie.
Yeah, emptying your gun into a crowd of passersby probably causes the emission of some fairly angry sounds.
Actually, there was one in Kenner last weekend.
I’m sure there were no background checks for anyone even if they happened to be buying an F-16 out of a trunk in the parking lot. Full autos at discount prices too no doubt. Maybe some “shoulder goes up thingy” accessories as well?
Was this at an on-location hollyweird movie set? I note no fatalities, just a bunch of injuries... could be the next anti-2A blockbuster, and this was not only the filming of the trailer, but the promotion and publicity for the movie as well.
I can’t fit an F-16 into my car trunk.
We can hook a trailer to my RAM Hemi. Talk about sucking your gas mileage down. ;>}
I’m sure it was a Landrieu voter.
And you're not even a NOPD detective.
Nothing good happens outside after midnight.
Big bushy beard with no mustache. Wide brimmed straw hat. Suspenders. Brown shoes. Made a speedy getaway on a horse drawn buggy.
They come into the quarter to rob the tourists. Then they see someone from another gang/tribe and they start shooting. Much of this could be stopped if the cops would profile and arrest for illegal possession. They pretty much all are carrying illegally. The tourists are too drunk to see what’s about to happen or they don’t know enough to recognize gang signs. Best thing to do is stay out of the quarter at night, and pay attention even during the daytime.
Police audio of the calls, info as the event was happening. I didn’t listen, about 12 minutes in length.
The Bourbon Street shooting that wounded nine people early Sunday was the act of
“two cowardly men,” New Orleans Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas told reporters,
WVUE Fox 8 reported......
Serpas told reporters that two young men armed with firearms “chose to
settle their dispute with no regard to others,” Fox 8 reporter Carolyn Sofield
live tweeted from a news conference on Bourbon Street. “We know more about
them than they think.”...
Yet the Police Chief and the city leaders INSIST that unless you are involved in crime New Orleans is ‘safe’. Yeah, right, come walk the streets of a crime ridden, decaying city at night. The animals need fresh meat. I wouldn’t set foot in New Orleans at night if I were handed $1000 at the city line. Don’t go in the day either- don’t need to. Yet people are lured continually and the ‘isolated incidents’ pile up. This happens daily- the ferals open fire on enemies anywhere, anytime. Thugs rule- everyone else is prey.
Just by reading the headline but not the story let me guess.........
Just this wek somewhere in St Tammany Parish (I forget where), someone in a silver Mercedes convertible was stopped a light when a “pedestrian” (only description I’ve heard) came up and ahot them in the head. Wish I could find more about it.
I believe the shooting you are talking about happened on Franklin Ave in the city, not the Northshore. Might have had a shooting there too, but the last I heard was a guy stopped at a light in ‘Bywater’. Intentionally hit, seems like. Life as usual in the hood. STAY OUT OF NEW ORLEANS!
