(CNSNews.com) - "The best thing we can do to grow the economy of our country, keep America number one, is to unleash the power of women,” House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told the National Partnership for Women and Families Thursday in Washington, D.C.
Pelosi said the Democrats' economic agenda has three pillars, including “fair pay, whether it’s the Paycheck Fairness Act or raising the minimum wage”; paid family leave; and "affordable, quality" child care.
“In the last couple of days I’ve been working with members on our economic agenda for America, and so we said how long we’ve been saying, ‘When women succeed, America succeeds’ should be a major part of this agenda. And ...this morning we decided it’s not going to be just a major part of it, it’s going to be it. And we’re going to add other things to it. But we’re not going to be the addition, we’re going to be the heart of the matter, ‘When women succeed, America succeeds,’ Pelosi said.

The Equal Pay Act of 1963 bans pay discrimination between males and females in the same jobs.
If women are really being paid less for the same work as a man, whose fault is that? It seems to me that Obama and Eric Holder already have the law on their side, to prosecute such cases of pay discrimination, if such cases exist.
Pay discrimination is already against the law, and has been for decades. What am I missing???
