NARAL added to its tidy collection of lies today when the group released a meme that juxtaposed Viagra and a pack of regular, hormonal birth control pills. Over the picture of Viagra was stamped the word “Covered.” Over the picture of the pack of birth control pills were stamped the words, “Not covered.” Why does this matter? Because it’s a lie that many pro-abortion advocates believe, and are spreading throughout social media with abandon.
So let’s set the record straight: Today’s SCOTUS ruling did NOT ban low-dose hormonal contraceptives (although a strong case can be made for the abortifacient qualities of those). The ruling did NOT ban any normal form of contraception. Today’s ruling in favor of Hobby Lobby simply exempted the company, and others with similar objections, to covering abortion-causing drugs and devices. These are so-called “emergency contraceptives,” and they’re normally used after unprotected sex to prevent a pregnancy from occurring, or expel one that has begun. Specifically, the Hobby Lobby case dealt with four: Ella, Plan B, and two IUDs. (By the way, this and this are what the two drugs in question look like.)
These four drugs and devices — which even the pro-abortion Mother Jones cites — are all capable of causing abortions in addition to acting as normal contraceptives. It’s a mode of action that other contraceptives do not have. This is why the Green family of Hobby Lobby and the Hahn family of Conestoga Wood objected to providing them free of charge to employees. The abortion lobby continues to gain throngs of supporters who are outraged by a misnomer, that the Supreme Court banned contraception. This is so far from the truth as to be laughable.

Since their father is a murderer from the start, and a liar, should we expect anything else but lies from these devils?
And BTW, don’t expect the lying scum media to state the truth, they just spew the lies they are told to spew.
“normal” contraceptives are abortifacient.
These lies, and the War on Women ( Rat tm) would have proceeded with or without SCOTUS
Abortifacients covered in the ruling are very distinctly different from contraceptives. One wonders if a woman that would confuse the two should be having sex at all.
As Christianity and in particular the institution of the Catholic Church increasingly influenced European society, those who dispensed abortifacient herbs found themselves classified as witches and were often persecuted (see witch-hunt).

I never knew this, but it makes sense.
What people sometimes fail to realize is that contraception was universally CONDEMNED by all Christians (Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox) prior to the 1930 Anglican Lambeth Conference and that, after the Conference, all major Protestant denominations condemned the new Anglican position.

Excellent article. I bookmarked it.
Some traditional “normal” contraceptive methods are truly contraceptive (i.e., stopping conception as in condoms, diaphragms, spermicides, etc.).
Other hormone delivery based methods like the “pill” or rings, under the skin implants or the like are conception preventives (i.e., hormones that stop fertilization by preventing ovulation) with a small percentage, about 5%, that stops attachment of a fertilized egg if that happens..
This very different from a true abortifacient (aborts a fertilized egg) which is what this ruling covers.
A good segway into the truth about Hobby Lobby. Although they offer other avenues of contraception to their employees, they would not support the mandated abortion and abortifacients (Morning after pill). It's that simple because they are a closely held (family) business that believes and lives their religion in their business. They even play religious music in their stores. (And not just at Christmas!)
God bless them.
PS. This does not apply to corporations, etc. as the libs would have you believe.
It was a statement.
Many are told that the “pill” prevents ovulation. However, it’s primary effect is to make the lining of the uterus hostile to implantation.
“I was hungry, and you gave me not to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me not to drink. [43] I was a stranger, and you took me not in: naked, and you covered me not: sick and in prison, and you did not visit me. [44] Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee? [45] Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me.”
